Brightech Property Inspections
Whether you are buying or selling, it is very important to have your new or current home inspected by a Certified Maine Home Inspector like myself. I am a Certified Master Inspectors and proud member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). I abide by InterNACHI's Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.

I am also fully insured and bonded. I am an independent Maine Home Inspector that works for you and will perform an unbiased inspection with the utmost quality and integrity. My General Home Inspections are a non-invasive and are an evaluation of the visible and accessible area of the interior and exterior structure, systems and components.
Services
I was impressed by the professionalism shown by the inspector, and his wealth of knowledge. I will absolutely recommend these services to other people. Very much satisfied. The report was very well organized. I felt he truly enjoys what he does and takes great pride in the report he gives you. I have called him several times and each time he has been very helpful.
I am a Certified Master Inspector and have completed more than 1,000 inspections and/or hours of Continuing Education, have been in business for more than three years, abide by the Master Inspector Certification Board's strict Code of Ethics, and have agreed to a criminal background check. Being a Maine native, I take pride in calling this great state my home and I'm glad that you are going to be calling it your home too.
I will provide you with a easy to read, detailed digital inspection report that includes all major defects and safety concerns, along with high quality pictures within 24 hours, but usually on the same day of the home inspection.

Specialized tools such as a Thermal Imaging Camera, Carbon Monoxide detector, Combustible Gas Leak detector, Moisture Meter, Remote UAV & Telescoping pole camera system are included on all inspections as specialized tools to assist me at no extra cost to you.The systems that are included in the home inspections are: the roof, exterior, interior, basement or crawlspace, foundation, HVAC, plumbing, attic, insulation, ventilation and electrical.
If your family gets drinking water from a private well, do you know if your water is safe to drink? What health risks could you and your family face? Where can you go for help or advice? The EPA regulates public water systems; it does not have the authority to regulate private drinking water wells.
Radon is a cancer-causing, radioactive gas. You cannot see, smell or taste radon. But it still may be a problem in your home. When you breathe air containing radon, you increase your risk of getting lung cancer. In fact, the Surgeon General of the United States has warned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States today.

We recently hired Tim at Brightech Property Inspections to do a home inspection of our new home. Tim did an exceptional job, he not only was very pleasant to deal with, he took extreme pride in his work. Tim went beyond his duties to answer any and all questions we had for our future plans and the current inspection. I would highly recommend him to anyone and his rate was very reasonable. Thank you again Tim for all your help.Keep up the good work!

Tim was excellent, diligent, and found several different issues that my wife and I had missed at our initial property showing. I would definitely use Brightech again.

We had Brightech inspect two properties in our search for the right home. One property was 3,600 sq ft, the other 1,200. Both reports were extremely detailed and thorough. Photos were attached along with explanations and how-to's. We could not have asked for a better experience.

Tim was very attentive, professional and went above and beyond to help us understand all aspects of the home. I recommend having the full home inspection (including water, radon, septic (if applicable)). Tim took time to fully explain any issues that came up, during and after the inspection. After the initial inspection, he stopped by to meet a contractor and noticed (once the snow had melted off the roof) that the vent stack for the bathroom was not installed correctly. This is a small detail to some, but reassured us we found the right person to perform the inspection. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough about the services that Tim provided. He was thorough and made us feel totally confident with our purchase. We used his inspection to prioritize the immediate needs that were to be completed upon inspection. The inspection report will be used as a "to do" list as we are more settled in our new home. He is professional and has great follow through!

Tim was very thorough and professional with his home inspection, taking extra time to go through everything with me and answer questions. He was easy to get in contact with for follow up questions, and met with my realtor for a follow up discussion of a structural issue he identified. I would definitely recommend his home inspection services!

I am a real estate broker, and recommended Brightech to buyers on the recommendation of another broker in my office. Tim's professionalism, service, and follow up exceeded expectations. I won't hesitate to recommend him to all of my buyer clients, or even sellers who are looking for a pre-listing home inspection.
