Services
Everyone is different and needs an individualized therapy or counseling approach. At The Purpose Center, we focus on the specific problems that affect your daily life, using well-known, evidence-based techniques. While techniques are important, authenticity, warmth, and empathy are integral for people to flourish in, and outside of, counseling.
Sometimes you need a psychological or substance use evaluation for diagnostic clarification or to determine if there is progress in therapy. We can also help you develop a clear path with a career assessment. Other times, employers may require a psychological or substance use evaluation to determine readiness to return to work.
Do you feel hopeless, isolated, overwhelmed or a sense of despair about what to do next? Maybe you are feeling suicidal. You may believe there is no reason for your depression. Maybe you've lost a job or are experiencing shame related to life experiences. Perhaps you are experiencing the grief and loss of a relationship.
Are you experiencing difficulty dealing with anxiety, depression, or trauma? Perhaps you're experiencing divorce, relationship difficulties or parenting stress. If so, you're not alone. Knowing you have a difficult road ahead, you want to address the whole self, not just parts, in order to promote healthy well-being.
Are you are looking to make healthy, positive, long-lasting changes to ensure wholeness and live a satisfying life? You may be going through a divorce or worried about your child in a divorce; feeling signs of stress, depression and anxiety. I hold a Master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.

I don’t have a gentle way to start this review - Dr Kuzyszyn-Jones saved my family. I have a high conflict divorce with two children. My son had long-standing behavioral issues that worsened. The short version is that his behavior became increasingly violent and his mother and the PC we were working with at the time refused to seek treatment for him. On court order, Dr Kuzyszyn-Jones performed an extensive custody and psychological evaluation. I was open and honest with all her questions. I didn't always like the feedback I received, but I trusted her, and her decisions, 100%. I felt she was

Stay away from this place!!!!! Extremely biased against men!!!! She completely botched a psychological assessment by hearing her first and then questioned me why made up stories and pure lies happened and wouldn’t accept the truth.
STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE WANTING TO GET A PSYCHOLOGICAL REPORT FROM KKJ!!!

Dr. K has been helping my family in many aspects to live a peaceful life. She has a strong desire to assess all aspects of our situation and has a vested interest in a better way of life. Dr. K is very smart and compassionate. I never felt that she did not want my situation to improve even if that meant gracefully delivering a tough message. Dr. K provides tools to help even though it could mean graduating from her care. I recommend Dr. K to adults, married couples, and children to utilize therapy as a way to better ourselves and experiences.

Dr. Katrina Kuzyszyn-Jones is an excellent therapist. I found her to be an active and empathetic listener who offers pragmatic and thoughtful guidance. I never felt like she was phoning it in. I've seen her selectively over the years in times of stress or difficult decision-making and she has always been really helpful, by hearing and validating my feelings and by offering tools and insights that helped me to determine what's best and healthiest for me. Unlike some other therapists I've seen, I never felt like she was creating a relationship of dependence. I see her very occasionally and it always

I was introduced to Katrina as my therapist when she was in a group practice and she was so good for me, that I followed her when she went out on her own.
I find that of all the therapists I was trying out (for fit – you should really shop around) she was best suited to me.
She is no "BS," she is thoughtful, she holds me accountable when needed while providing great perspective, she helps me understand multiple perspectives in one context so that I can really get what’s going on.
She keeps current with research and techniques and employs them in her work with people when they are suited
