Keratitis is an inflammation or infection of the cornea, the clear front cover of the eye. Noninfectious keratitis Treatment of noninfectious keratitis varies depending on the cause. However, if your keratitis is caused by a scratch or extended contact lens wear, you may only need a 24-hour eye patch and topical eye medications.
Ocular Allergies is the abnormal response of sensitive eyes to contact with allergens and other irritating substances. Over-the-counter antihistamine pills and eye drops are often used for short-term treatment of eye allergy symptoms. However, prolonged use of some eye drops may actually make your symptoms worse.
Usually, no treatment is needed. Over-the-counter artificial tears can be applied to the eye if mild irritation is present. The eye does not require a patch. The use of aspirin or other medication that inhibits clotting should be avoided. If you are taking aspirin or an anticoagulant for a medical condition, check with your physician to determine whether the medication should be stopped or continued.

Being a young female needing corrective glasses I was nervous but even more so after the fact that it was in my best interest to get bifocal lenses. Dr. Gill was very thorough with my concerns and the staff was very friendly during the whole process. I am now at ease with my vision and my view on bifocals.
