Albena Dimitrova is a Professional Hairstylist and founder and CEO of Rofinka Hair Design. She uses her professional skills and creativity in hairstyling to make her clients look their best. Albena was one of the first students of Stylist Kapanov, the founder and Chairman of BNAH (Bulgarian National Association of Hairdressers), and has earned a Master in the craft of Hairdressing.
She is also a member of Intercoiffeur Bulgaria / Intercoiffeur Mondial. In her career as a hairstylist, Albena went on the Royal Olympic Cruises and managed the Beauty and Spa salon. She spent about 2 years traveling and working, and then she worked as hairstylist for the biggest advertising agencies in Sofia, Bulgaria.

This place is crazy expensive!!! The owner is super nice, friendly and easy to talk to. However, it took her forever to do my highlights to my short and not abundant hair. It normally took me 1 hr everywhere else, with her 3+ hrs and then she charged me $350+!!! Which is 2.5 times the price I have paid even in the best places in newbury st. And this is not nearly as nice. At first I thought it was horribly expensive but she did a good job, but as soon as I washed my hair it looked frizzy and burned! It has taken me about a year and lots of treatments to recover it. She always says she uses great

I have been here twice now for haircut. Albena is the most talented, patient and polite hairdresser I've met. She takes the time to "listen" to what I want and gives honest opinion on what will work (or won't). She takes immense pride in her work and doesn't rush through the task. Both times I have seen her painstakingly set my hair till it is perfect to the last strand!
During the pandemic, she took all the necessary precautions and steps to make me feel safe being in that space and return without worry.

It is rare to come across such a skilled, professional hairdresser who is happy to indulge her customer with remarkable attention to detail. I moved into the area in September of 2019. Saw this salon right next to my office, decided to give it a try. At the time, it was the only place that I saw that was near me, and the interior looked very quaint and inviting.
She was very friendly and very easy to talk to. I feel like we could talk about anything, and there will always be something I learn from her.
She is almost always ready for me when I arrive. The very few times I had to wait, it was no more than 5 minutes tops. It was usually because of an urgent walk-in. No big deal for me.

The best hair stylist in the greater Boston area. Book with confidence. I have been going there for over 10 years and its always been great quality and value. The prices are also very competitive and the service is great. Always accommodates my requests and schedule. Really convenient to go after work as well as before if needed.

I cannot speak highly enough of this salon. I relatively last minute needed someone to help me and my small party with hair for my wedding. I had never been to this salon before, but after seeing the great reviews, decided to give a call. Albena was a delight. She had availability, so we scheduled the day and a test run, where we tried a few options until finding one that would work with my hair and the veil. On the day of, she did my mom, MIL, SIL, and me. My mom has never had a better hair day! My hair held the entire day and looked natural and like me, even though it was of course done more

My girlfriend went to Albena for a haircut. After looking at the extremely articulate job she did, I decided to sign up for a haircut. Being a guy, I normally stick to quick and cheap places but after the numerous compliments I got thanks to Albena, I've already revisited her twice.

Albena gives amazing haircuts and blow drys. I went here on New Year's Eve to get highlights as well. I wanted caramel, which in hindsight is incredibly subjective to ask for. There's room for interpretation. I wasn't sure how I felt about it when I left the salon.
When I got home, the highlights looked bright orange in my bathroom mirror. My blow out looked amazing. I thought after a few washes, I'd adjust to it. However after about 2 weeks, I turned to my bf and asked what he thought of my hair. He said, "I don't hate it. It looks like you dyed your hair red."

I came here to have my waist length hair cut to a professional and practical length before a big career event at my university.
It was my first pro hair cut in 2 or 3 years. I got a little lost on my way there and arrived late and Albena was nice about it, and didn't make me feel bad about it. She also didn't guilt me about doing my own highlights, which is something I expect from salons now.
She gave me an amazing hair cut and blow out. Top quality.

Don't hesitate when you enter this salon and note its small size...in this case, small is MIGHTY!
Albena, the owner of Rofinka, does it ALL. Answers the phone, washes your hair, cuts, blows out, colors...and she does it all superbly. I have traveled the country and the world searching for talented stylists who are not intimidated by my very thick, very curly, and very long hair...Albena handles my hair with one hand tied behind her back and a smile on her face...and handles it so beautifully! I met Albena when she did the hair for a friend's wedding. I have very thick, curly hair and have been around the block with stylists. She gave me the most beautiful up-do that highlighted my natural curls for the wedding. I decided to see her for my haircuts.
