Todd came out to take a look at my busted A/C and told me that I had a freon leak somewhere. He told me that it would be a week before someone could get out to do a leak test that would cost $300 and that they would call me to set it up. In the meantime, he said he could fill my unit with freon to hold me over, assuring me that if it was a big leak that he would hear it, but otherwise a small leak would last months. Todd filled my machine, claimed to not hear a leak, charged me over $600, and then left. The next day, my A/C was already not working again so I called out a different company, remembering

Two of my biggest fears are taking my car to a mechanic and calling an air conditioner repair company - I've been ripped off too many times before. Friday night, I had an issue with my (very old) air conditioner and I called Airrific because they do after hours emergency repair. First thing Todd Case (the owner) says is "boy, this is a pretty old unit" at which I brace myself for another bad experience. It ended up being a great experience. Do not use this company.. They charge without telling you and then they didn't want to tell me what they were going to replace over the phone because they didn't want me to go to another company... he told me he was 'making his own notes' and wouldn't tell me the part they wanted to replace. Todd, the service 'manager' told me that I was not going to get refunded because the tech was there for a significant amount of time and he has to get paid for his work it can't be free... the service was supposed to cost $85 out the door. the tech ended up coming in

Stay away from these people! To start, we have two air conditioners. they have been servicing our units for about 3 years now. the main unit only made it to 6 years old meaning they worked on it for half its life. They said we had a leak in the coils. put some chemical in to stop it, took out the coils and cleaned them, and 10 months later they came out to service it again and said we still had a leak. now our choice is to replace the coils at twice the cost of the cleaning and leak stop or get a new unit. The service tech quoted a 14 seer unit with only a 1 year labor warranty for the same

Horrible service. My AC worked fine until I had them come and clean it. About an half hour after they left I noticed the house was getting warm. So I called them to come back. After they got back I was then told I need to buy a new part that was 450.00 dollars. I would never use them I called another company and all they did was correct a few wires that had been missed connected and I was up and running. I would never use people who try to take advantage of others.
