Is excessive worry getting in the way of you living your best life? Everyone gets a case nerves from time to time, but when anxiety keeps you from doing the things you want to do-or getting a good night's sleep-you may have an anxiety disorder. Although we all get the blues from time to time, depression moves in and doesn't leave.
Everyone feels nervous from time to time, whether or not there's a reason for it. Anxiety, even intense anxiety, is entirely normal, especially when it's due to a big event, like a major life decision. Experiencing occasional anxiety that doesn't get in the way of you living your life doesn't mean you have an anxiety disorder.
Everyone gets moody from time to time. Sometimes the blues come in and settle for a week or two, then we bounce back. Ups and downs are a common part of life, but there's no easy "bouncing back" with bipolar disorder. It's a serious emotional disorder that wrecks a person's ability to life a satisfying life.
We all have days when we're sad, sometimes for no reason at all. These bad, sad days end and our mood returns to normal. But for people with depression, there's no effortless climb back to a regular mood. Depression is a common, serious mood disorder that causes chronic feelings of deep sadness, along with lethargy and a loss of interest in once pleasurable activities.
Individual therapy helps clients work through difficult times by exploring behaviors, feelings, and thoughts one-on-one with a professionally trained therapist. Therapy allows clients to identify aspects of their lives they want to change, find goals to reach or nurture better relationships with others.

I was a pretty big mess when I came to Aragon Mental Health. With diligent care from Damaris we found a medication regimen that has actually worked. I have never felt so listened to and empathized with from any other medical professional. I will and have referred her to others I know that need help.

I would highly recommend Damaris Aragon. She was absolutely a lifesaver in my mental health issues brought on by the pandemic and other life changing events! If you are struggling with your mental health you will not be disappointed, thank you so much Damaris.

I have been going to Demaris for many years. She is exceptionally knowledgeable about meds and diagnosing. She is very empathetic and kind. I would highly recommend her. Regarding another persons review: HIPPA is a federal law and has very strict regulations (I used to be a nurse practitioner so I know). No knowledge can be given without the patient's consent. As frustrating as that can be.

Have nothing but good things to say, Damaris really cares and listens to everything that I say and gives good advice, she doesn’t just prescribe medication and sends you on your way, she takes the time to really listen to everything and has helped me a lot throughout the year that I’ve been seeing her. She really did save my life and helped me (and continues helping) when I needed it

Demaris saved my life. In my darkest hour she was the light that guided me through my mental health crisis. She listens to me, and we work together to maintain stability in my mental health journey. She doesn’t just prescribe and let me go. She takes the whole person into account and treats me with dignity and respect. Very professional and I would recommend her to anyone who needs mental health services.

Damaris has been just what my husband needed. She is very caring but firm in her care and guidance. Damaris is very knowledgeable when it comes to medications. We would be lost without her.

Damaris may mean well as a mental nurse practitioner, but her misdiagnosis and treatment tore a family apart and put our loved one ( her patient) in great danger. Because of HIPPA Damaris hung up on us. The patient, being mentally unstable tells lies, seeming legitimate. DO NOT GO TO HER.

I felt like I was not being listened to as a patient. Would not recommend her to a friend. For me personally, I do not think we had a great personality match. She has a very authoritative personality. I need someone who is more nurturing and has better "bed side manners". After all, getting treated for mental health purposes is a sensitive ordeal in itself. I do not need to be bossed around. I need to have my needs met, while being listened too. I knew it wasn't a good match when I would leave the her office feeling more anxious then when I walked in. She is not willing to work with the patient

Terrible. I set up an appointment, was told I'd receive a reminder. No reminder came. I mixed up the dates and called several times to make sure of my appointment date. I finally got a call back days later telling me I missed my appointment and they refused to reschedule "that's a whole hour wasted. We don't reschedule missed appointments" I checked my texting history (the format I was supposed to receive a reminder) and I had no reminder what so ever. Very unprofessional and EXTREMELY rude.
I would like to point out that this doctor answers the poor reviews with excuses. I DID NOT receive a text
