Brian and Mary live on the ranch, raised their rascals out on the place, part-time ranch and manage to be happily married after 30 years. Of course, weddings are a big part of what we do here. However, the Venue at Rafter E ranch is the perfect event center to host any event in Fredericksburg, Texas. Our building can be rented for appreciation dinners, non-profit events, corporate meetings, and more! Our goal is to be as generous as possible with our space, and to make connections with others while they make connections with our venue.

From rolling hills to emerald green waters for your backdrop. The Venue is located on a 200 plus acre working ranch secluded in the country with wildlife.
Fredericksburg is definitely one of the best small towns in Texas to visit! Just outside of San Antonio, which, by the way, is on the list of up and coming US Travel Destinations in 2019, this charming hill country town is known for its German heritage, great wineries, shopping, Nimitz Museum, and Enchanted Rock State Park.
The uniqueness of the reclaimed wood and tin in the building will make decorating a cinch. The main event room is so large and beautiful that we offer plenty of room to have the ceremony inside. Sharing our ranch with others is what we enjoy! The Venue is located on a secluded 200+ acre ranch with miles of Bear Creek.

We would not have changed a thing! We booked this venue 1 year in advance during the covid pandemic and everything went as planned. The owners Mary and her husband were always prompt in answering their emails and having their presence there during our set up and reception made us very comfortable. They are beautiful couple themselves and the whole day went smoothly. Not only do they have a beautiful large venue in a perfect ranch style setting, they also had a key selling point to letting us set up the day before the wedding which was good for me. I am the type of bride that would rather take control

The Venue at Rafter E Ranch was everything my husband and I were looking for in a wedding venue! We had so many people comment on how beautiful the venue was! The price was lower than other competing venues and we loved how the owners provided us with a tour and information packet to help select additional vendors to help our day run smoothly. Mary was very quick to respond to any questions we had and was very helpful throughout the entire process. The sunset we had on our wedding day was breath taking and made the venue even more perfect when you take in the views!

You will pay thousands of dollars for the use of the place. It is a very nice place for celebrations, be aware that you are responsible for the set up and the clean up of the place and if outdoor chairs are needed they are not provided, other that that we had a great evening there. In response to the owner no I was not escorted out I am the uncle of the bride brother in law to the mom of the bride

My daughter got married last Friday. It is such a beautiful venue and the owners are so pleasant to deal with. They were so accommodating to our needs and wants. We received so many compliments of the wedding, venue location and scenery. I would recommend this venue hands down.

I recently photographed a wedding at this beautiful venue! The owner was extremely kind & professional. From a wedding photographer's perspective: This venue photographs AMAZINGLY! The bridal suite is full of natural light, and the sunsets - phenomenal for romantic portraits! The reception space is large & extremely convenient to capture dancing & events with off camera flash. 10 / 10 would recommend this gem of a venue. <3

Altared Weddings & Events set up a photo booth for a wedding on 11-05-20. The venue was sparkling clean, had a gorgeous view, plenty of power outlets (important to a lighting/DJ company) and the owner was onsite to make sure everything ran smoothly. What a joy to work at this beautiful venue, highly recommended to all couples AND vendors!

The Venue at Rafter E Ranch was perfect for my wedding! Mary was very responsive and helpful with any questions I had, and was very accommodating when I had to reschedule because of Covid-19. The venue supplied multiple sanitizing stations throughout, and was big enough that we could space out the tables. Our guests felt very safe throughout the event. The gorgeous scenery outside the venue made for a beautiful backdrop for our photos! The bridal and groom suites were also perfect for our wedding party!

Very nice venue, compared to some I'd say they lack a few minor things. Bridal suite is perfect for pictures and the groom's suite has a nice tv. I think what could add just a touch to the detail would be including a Bluetooth speaker in the bridal suite. Most people bring their own but including one will help keep the bridesmaids entertained as there isn't a tv in that room. The outdoor area for the ceremony is nice the sun will usually be on the bride's side which is good, but squinty eyes for the groom.
