Services
Recommended Action: Check your home circuit breaker box and reset circuit breaker. Recommended Action: Check to make sure your thermostat/control is on and set to cool. Reset to your desired temperature. Recommended Action: Air coming through your vent will be warm. Check temperature setting on thermostat/control.
The most common thermostat used by installers in the field is the Honeywell Pro 3000. This thermostat is non programmable and very easy for consumers to use. One of the most common questions is how to program the Pro 3000 thermostat. On the right you will find a a step by step guide to help you program the thermostat.
A brief explanation on how to disassemble and remove an air-conditioning blower motor, and remove the squirrel cage blower wheel, in order to avoid the entire assembly explaining how the two parts can be disassembled separate from each other in order to save the customer money. Components of a properly installed 12,000 btu Daiken Mini Split Unit, the condenser, power-head, line-set and remote control are explained.
Continuing my discussion on the major components of HVAC unit I would like to discuss circuit boards/zone dampers. The circuit board simply controls the sequence of events needed for proper operation of the equipment. Most new equipment now use circuit boards instead of a series of relays and timers.
Attics are a great exterior exposure spot to really beef up on insulation. Often insulation's R-Factor wild degrade over time as the house settles and small settling cracks create crevasses. This blown in insulation (demonstrated here) is a great to load up the attic with R-13 expanding foam insulation.

Jones A/C installed a new outside a/c unit and the air handler in the attic. We already had to get a new motor installed because they installed the plugs wrong. Also they kinked one of the Freon lines and the unit kept freezing up. Of course when I called to get this issue fixed they said that I would have to pay for the service time. That is completely unacceptable. I’ve been in construction for 25 years and if I installed a fan in the wrong way and the motor went bad because of me I would install a new one for no charge. I would not recommend this company at all.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
I just watched Mr. Jones doing a sub panel video. Great stuff. I really liked the comments about paying knowledge forward and helping people. I’m an electrical helper and helping a guy do a basement sub panel. I do intend to call and ask one or two questions regarding the bonding jumper. Thank you so much!

I simply cannot say enough about David Jones, owner of Jones Air Conditioning & Electric. David responded to my voicemail message immediately and was at my door the very next day with a Nest Thermostat in hand. He was knowledgeable, efficient, exceedingly polite and a true professional. When I did not like the finish on the Nest Thermostat, he gladly came back the next day and switched out the unit with a different finish -AND didn't charge me extra. It was clear my satisfaction was David's main goal. I wish all contractors/service people were like Jones Air Conditioning and Electric. Highly, highly
