Arthritis, in general terms, is inflammation and swelling of the cartilage and lining of the joints, generally accompanied by an increase in the fluid in the joints. Arthritis has multiple causes; just as a sore throat may have its origin in a variety of diseases, so joint inflammation and arthritis are associated with many different illnesses.

During your first appointment, your doctor will typically obtain a complete history of your injury, as well as perform a physical exam.

Three visits and $1,500 later, the ulcer on my little toe has not gotten better, and is in fact worse under the doctor's care here. I wish he would have simply honestly told me my first visit to go see a dermatologist, and that he lacked the medical expertise to deal with my issue. I am very disappointed with the care recieved here.
