It's a mental hospital for homeless people. If you are admitted . It will not be quiet in any way shape or form. It has a lack of funding feel and look about it.
The doctors are arrogant uncaring and have a feeling they did not graduate at the top of the their class. They always have a group of students with them. You are rarely treated with respect.
The Urgent care is run down ramshackle mess and slow the staff are nice as any other but unprofessional . So many better options for urgent cares

On 12/01/21 I went in to take my dad to get lower back surgery. Knowing that this was a huge surgery I didn’t know what to expect from the medical center due to the fact that I was coming from out of town. I was approached by Rosa Moore and she informed me that she was going to be the person to help me throughout my dads surgery and inform me with any new updates. Throughout my experience, I have never felt someone to be so caring about their patients. She truly made me feel as if my dad was her family member. Thank you LA downtown medical center for having such a wonderful staff.

My husband went for surgery and got covid after being several weeks, and after 43 days he passed away, due to complications with this hospital, I would not recommend this hospital for anyone to stay.

Urgent care is unprofessional. Still waiting The reception staff were too busy having a pow wow in their to even notice me. Hours have gone by and I still haven't been seen. The waiting room is empty. I haven't seen one patient go in or out of these doors. I don't get it. Is there no doctor??!?

The worst hospital ever! I took my mother,
She stay for 3 days she did not receive the test that she was supposed to get. The nurses didn’t not what was going on. She is a diabetic and she has ulcers the food was awful, I ask for soft foods they gave her a hamburger and pasta. Her bathRoom was
Dirty. One doctor said one thing the other said something else. Even-though the nurses were nice when I visit, they didn’t responded to her needs. Very disappointed.

I hate hospitals but my experience while visiting during COVID was actually impressive. I felt safe and in good hands. I saw two doctors who were both great at explaining things in detail and answered all of my questions. I trust this place. Did not feel like patient #2003.

This hospital is amazing the physicians are exceptional and the staff, especially Veronica, were all very friendly. I’m lucky to have been a patient there. Overall it’s very well run and organized with little to no wait time.
I’ve been there many times since being a patient there, and it’s always a pleasure. They have exceptional food and plenty of parking,
Highly recommended !

Review is for the medical floor. As an out of state nurse, I’ve seen everything and dealt with different healthcare staff. I am very impressed with this hospital. Although small, their nurses and a few doctors (mostly younger ones) have all been cordial and respectful towards my mom and me.

I had such a pleasant experience here despite our circumstances. Everyone was very attentive and took care of our needs quickly. We were in and out of the urgent care in record time. The staff kept us updated, explained everything, and answered our questions so patiently. If you need anything while you’re there, look for Lita, RN- she’ll go out of her way to help you!
