Dr. Paddy Jim Baggot has been serving women in the LA area since 1999. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois School of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago in 1992. Following his residency training, Dr. Baggot pursued a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Arkansas, and a fellowship in medical genetics at the Medical College of Virginia.

I didn’t have a doctor, and they were able to squeeze me in the same day via a referral. I can’t say enough about how kind and attentive Dr. Baggot and his staff are. I’ve seen a lot of OBs with my other pregnancies, and was never treated with such care. I will have to drive all the way from the South Bay, but I feel as though it will be worth it for a great doc. Also, I was able to see my little one wiggling around on the ultrasound screen today! Such a blessing.

While discussing my medical history w/ the nurse (before seeing the doctor), I told her that I was interested in birth control to help with my hormonal acne. She advised me that the doctor will not prescribe me any birth control because he is “pro life.” This honestly made me question the doctor’s competence, and made me feel like he was trying to take away my autonomy. Also, the office furniture is decrepit, and the darkness of the office combined with the multiple images of Mary of Nazareth, give the office a horror-movie feel.

Dr. Baggot is an amazing doctor! Very intelligent and knows his onions. I enjoyed my last 7 weeks of pregnancy under his care. Very thorough, made me feel comfortable, and is hilarious. Delivery was a breeze and recovery too. I will definitely be returning to Guadalupe medical center. Oh and by the way his Office Manager, Ms. Rocel is soo sweet, professional and responds almost immediately to emails, texts and requests. LOVE THEM!

Dr. Baggot is exceptional! My wife followed all his recommendations (including diet plan) religiously. The result was so good. Easy, normal and safe delivery with very healthy/strong baby. Some people may have different opinion about his directness and blunt answers but we loved it. We are adults and really do not need sugar coating. Also, if you have a sense of humor, you will LOVE Dr. Baggot. He made the entire process feel like a breeze.

First time i went to dr baggot i drove from pheonix and now i drive from barstow .
He is amazing and knows exactly what hes doing
I will never go to another dr after going to him
He did my 3rd 4th and 5th c section and they were all pain free no issues ..

Doctor Baggot was my OBGYN for my last couple months of pregnancy. I found him through searching for a new doctor. I already had my doctor who delivered my first daughter but i wasnt convinced this pregnancy. I gave doctor Baggot a try and fell in love with the staff. The girls were all very welcoming to me and my daughter. Another thing was i wanted to deliver at Greater el Monte and the staff was so helpful to make all the arrangements even though Doctor Baggot doesnt practice there anymore. The doctor even agreed in letting me deliver there evn though its far for him. I had the best csection

During all of my pregnancies I had nauseas for the entire 9 months. Dr. Baggot quickly found the right medicine that allowed me to enjoy an entire pregnancy nause free.
He made me feel safe and well cared for. When the moment for labor came he made me feel that everything was under his control and therefore, again, I felt safe. The delivery of my baby (vaginal without pain medication) was an amazing experience, he guided me to be in control allowing me to witness the birth of my child like I had never seen before.

DR. Baggot and the rest of the staff in his office are great. He was my OB throughout my whole pregnancy and I couldn’t off asked for a better service, he answered all my questions every time I had one, made me feel like I was in good hands. I had a bad experience with my previous pregnancy due to the bad service my previous doctors provided (doctors because my main doctor was mostly never available). From my regular visits to delivery everything was great, such a big difference from my first pregnancy. If I ever decide to have another baby I sure know I will definitely be going back with DR

Dr. Baggot and His staff are amazing. They go above and beyond for their patients. I live in long beach I go to both his LA office and long beach location. The doctor takes his time to explain every procedure to me gets my consent before performing any procedure. Dr. Baggot is exceptional, he treats me and my son with upmost care. He deliver my healthy, brilliant son one week ago. He gives you his personal cell phone so that you gave contact with him 24/7 from the very first visit. I would definitely recommended Dr. Baggot to all friends, coworkers and all. I will definitely missed seeing the staff
