Dr. Kris Kim grew up in the greater Seattle area and attended Meadowdale High School. She went on to receive her undergraduate education from University of Washington and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Dr. Kim received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Washington.

My dentist initially referred me to Edmonds Orthodontics. I didn't have terrible bites but I didn't like my tooth profile for years. It really bothered me and I finally decided to start my braces. Both Dr. Kim and Dr. O'Hara are professional. All employees are friendly and helpful. I had my braces for three years and just got them off last month before my birthday. I'm so happy about this. My friends all noticed the change of the my tooth profile. I would definitely recommend this place!

My daughter has been a Patient here since she was 4-5 years old. She is 10 now. They have always been friendly and professional. With paying out of pocket, they were accommodating with giving different options. The office is not a convenient location for us since we've moved but, we would not take her anywhere else. I just love them! So welcoming and it's a beautiful office.

This is the best place to go if you are looking for great orthodontics!
Dr. Kim and Dr. Ohara, along with the entire staff are wonderful.
Dr. Kim followed me for 15 years, taking full x-rays each year to plan the perfect strategy for straightening my teeth and correcting my bite,
(at no charge!), until it came time for the braces.
I had some issues with discoloration from my own negligence, not spending the time to brush properly. (My suggestion: BRUSH PROPERLY!)
Dr. Kim provided me with the best solution for that, The Icon treatment.
The results are AMAZING!!!
I am 100% satisfied with Edmonds

You have probably driven by this place and never noticed it. It's an inconspicuous building a block up from the Starbucks. Parking is adequate and clean accessibility is good, easy to navigate in and out.
The orthodontics office is on the 2nd floor.. The building itself is in good shape, the inside is clean... Dare I say, almost welcoming.

I highly recommend Edmonds Orthodontics, staff here is always super friendly and the office is nice and clean. Few of my friends referred me here cause their kids got braces and loved their results. My daughter is in the beginning stages of treatment and they have always been exceptional at explaining every step of the way, my daughter is even excited to get straight teeth!

When I first started, they were very flexible with payment options and I appreciated that. Everyone is always so nice and friendly, Dr. Kim and Dr. Ohara are very thorough, and the assistants are great. They also have extended hours which made it very convenient with my work schedule.
Since I started coming here, I have referred a friend's son and daughter and they are also very pleased with their treatment

I emailed for the "complimentary consultation" per their website. I received a call to confirm the appointment. I went in - the first woman at the desk said she had spoken with me - then she disappeared, and a new woman appeared telling me the visit would cost $125. Total bait and switch. I told them I had made the appointment for the free consult per their website. She doubled down and told me the doctor had said there would be a $125 cost to be seen. False advertising. What else are they lying about?

Dr. Kim and the team here are amazing. They truly go above and beyond to ensure that you get the best orthodontic care available. I've had a couple of situations with my daughter that required an immediate visit or after hours and both times they were more than accommodating. I would truly recommend this place to family and friends and anyone that is looking to have orthodontic work done. You will not be disappointed.

The entire staff at Edmonds Orthodontics are very professional, friendly, accommodating and supportive.
We have had a very positive experience over the 2 1/2 years that my daughter had braces. They always made time to squeeze her in if she needed something adjusted and worked around her busy school schedule.

These folks are stellar with my son Rob. Coming up from CA; we knew that his braces would be a challenge and he has always been particular when working with doctors. We had an issue where one of his cement connectors got lose on the tooth and this obviously bothered the boy. The office had just closed and they reopened for emergency time to address this promptly.
I'd recommend these professionals to my family as they work to the true needs of their patients.

Dr. Kim and her entire staff are absolutely wonderful! When I was originally looking for an orthodontist I went to three different places and she came in as the middle bid, I paid up front and have never had any issues with additional costs, she stuck to her original bid. Dr. Kim and her staff seem to get that your time is important and runs her office very efficiently, I've been coming to her for a few years now and never have to wait more then a few minutes for my appointment.
