Our team members have an average 15 years or more in the orthodontic field each. They are dedicated to caring for each and every one of our patients. They recognize that each patient is an individual with special wants and needs and they try to accommodate them. Not only are they dedicated to the patients they are dedicated to the office.
During the consultation Dr. Vierra will evaluate your orthodontic requirements, and the best approach and timing for treatment. He will explain treatment options and answer any questions about his diagnosis and treatment recommendations. If treatment is needed, financial options as well as the expected course of treatment will be explained.
The cost of your orthodontic treatment will vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. Dr. Vierra and the staff will discuss with you the cost of your treatment, and each of your available payment plan options, so that you are able to make the best choice for you and your smile. We will work with you to create a payment plan that fits your budget, and you will know what to expect before beginning treatment.
While there is no exact age for children to begin orthodontic treatment, the American Association of Orthodontists recommends visiting the orthodontist around age seven. Our daughter needed correction for an in-bite and first we were sent by our insurance to an orthodontist who did all kinds of tests and determined that she needed to wear a 'bird-cage' exterior device to pull on her upper jaw which the doctor said wasn't growing well. That looked to us like a terrible proposition to make an eight year old undergo for years, so we paid out-of-pocket to go get a second opinion. My dentist, whom I trust, recommended Dr. Vierra. This doctor stated up front that he uses a conservative approach meaning he will try the least obtrusive, expensive methods

The staff is nice and Vierra is alright. Myself and my sister both had somewhat complicated cases but nothing extraordinary yet Vierra over two years misaligned her teeth and she's now going somewhere else. I had them on for 6 years and they are still off and my bite still isn't fixed constantly being told "wear your rubber bands". After 6 years rubber bands obviously aren't doing the job so change it up. I'm now almost 25 and having to get braces on once again.
