We are located in Old Orchard Beach on an oceanside street. Our convenient location is less than a one minute walk down a private street to Maine's best beach, a seven mile stretch of seashore. Although we are just a short walk to all of the activities and excitement downtown, we are far enough away to provide a peaceful, family-oriented, restful vacation.

Plan a full day of hiking, kayaking, fishing and exploring the shore. There are so many things to do around Old Orchard Beach and the Portland, ME area that you'll want to come back over and over again!. My family loves old orchard beach and this year was no different. We enjoyed our stay here since it’s so close to beach. It’s just a quick walk to the center but far enough away to have quiet nights. Owners are fantastic and always checking in to see if we needed anything.

The owners were so helpful from the time we called for our reservation and throughout the entire stay. The kitchenette we had was perfect for 4 nights and the 2 rooms were divided enough for us and our 2 young kids. The kitchenette was all we needed and were able to make small meals as well as walk to all the main attractions and only steps from the beach.

Clean and close to the beach! Very clean and well taken care of. Out door shower for easy clean up. Would have liked an option to sit down somewhere, even if a covered outside area, No place to hang/dry wet items.

Clean and comfortable, with quick access to beach. Pier is a short walk(10min). Private patio area. Kitchenette with basic dishes. Private parking included. Grocery stores are between 5-10 min drive . Loud at night as there is a lot of traffic, and trains. The Cabins have A/c-that is very loud, helps to block street noise.

This was our 4th stay at the Moontide and, coincidentally, my 4th review! Upon arrival this time, we found that the previous owners, Jim and Donna, had retired. Jim and Donna were fantastic people and, thankfully, they passed the business along to another great person. Mary called us by name our entire stay and engaged in conversation with us whenever we crossed paths no matter how busy she was. To boot, the Moontide retained its staff from the previous ownership and everyone that works there is incredibly helpful and nice. We stayed in Room 3 which was perfectly suited for our needs. Sweet little hotel steps from the beach! Extremely clean, owners very friendly and have worked to provide a lovely space for traveling families-very attentive to the details! We loved our stay here and would return! Beautiful gardens and homey touches. My only wish was for beach chairs!

I used to visit OOB every summer for about 4-5 years when my mother was alive. We'd take my nieces and have the best time. We stayed at a different hotel than the Moontide. But on the 10th anniversary of my mother's passing my brother and his kids and I decided to visit OOB. We decided to try the Moontide even tho I really wanted to stay in the place we used to stay in. I am glad we decided to try this hotel out! We got one of the "two bedroom" rooms with a kitchen. It was small but four of us had no problems with it. The place was so clean! That's a big thing with me!
