Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental health disorder that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and occurs when a person gets caught in a cycle of obsessions and compulsions. Obsessions are unwanted, intrusive thoughts, images or urges that trigger intensely distressing feelings.
Some people experience what is referred to as limited-symptom panic attacks, which are similar to full-blown panic attacks but consist of fewer than four symptoms. Although anxiety is often accompanied by physical symptoms, such as a racing heart or knots in your stomach, what differentiates a panic attack from other anxiety symptoms is the intensity and duration of the symptoms.
Posttraumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, is a serious potentially debilitating condition that can occur in people who have experienced or witnessed a natural disaster, serious accident, terrorist incident, sudden death of a loved one, war, violent personal assault such as rape, or other life-threatening events.
Everyone experiences stress and anxiety at one time or another. The difference between them is that stress is a response to a threat in a situation. Anxiety is a reaction to the stress. Whether in good times or bad, most people say that stress interferes at least moderately with their lives.

Chronic stress can affect your health, causing symptoms from headaches, high blood pressure, and chest pain to heart palpitations, skin rashes, and loss of sleep. But you can learn how to reduce the impact of stress and manage your symptoms. Physical activity is a proven way to reduce stress.
Problem drinking that becomes severe is given the medical diagnosis of "alcohol use disorder" or AUD. AUD is a chronic relapsing brain disease characterized by compulsive alcohol use, loss of control over alcohol intake, and a negative emotional state when not using. Approximately 6 percent or 15 million adults in the United States ages 18 and older had AUD in 2015.

Dr Bohn is very unavailable. He cancelled our first appointment, I had to cancel the next appointment and all of a sudden Hr is no longer excepting new patients. I was referred to him by a reputable doctor. Don't waste your time.

I saw Dr. Bohn once when my own psychiatrist was on vacation. He was great. Although he knew nothing about me somehow he made me feel comfortable and kind of "read my mind." He's relaxed and he made me relax. He really "attended" to me (i.e. he didn't have any other agenda in his head). He really "got it" whatever I said. I certainly would recommend him to anyone who needs a psychiatrist.
