The scaphoid is one of the small bones in the wrist. It is the wrist bone that is most likely to break. The scaphoid is located on the thumb side of the wrist, in the area where the wrist bends. An injury to the triangular fibrocartilaginous complex (TFCC) can cause chronic wrist pain. Trying to break a fall by putting your hand out in front of you seems almost instinctive.
In osteoarthritis (OA, or "degenerative arthritis") the cartilage layer wears out, resulting in direct contact between the bones and producing pain and deformity. Tennis elbow is a form of tendonitis that causes pain over the bony prominence called the lateral epicondyle on the outside of the elbow.

2 years have past and the quality of my life has gone down the drain. I regret so much walking into this man's office and letting him tell me that he needs to cut into my arm. I don't sleep well anymore. I can't exercise my primary arm. I'm constantly depressed. I have no recourse. All I can hope is that somebody doesn't make the mistake I made by just trusting this guy when he says you need surgery.

A second opinion is strongly recommended and necessary after seeing this surgeon. I regret trusting Dr Kronlage and had Surgery on my hand for what he recommended when seeing him for a broken wrist, which was not considered important but a trigger finger was. I trusted him, wrong move, He recommended surgery on 4 fingers and it failed. My hand is worse than at the start and when my questioning the surgery he admitted it failed. I live with the pain daily. Lesson learned NEVER trust and act on one opinion, especially his.

This guy ruined my right wrist. And cost me a fortune. We do a consultation for a broken wrist. Upon 15 minutes in his office he advised I go under same day and get a screw implanted. Upon completion on the surgery told me that PT was optional and it would regain function in time. 3 years later I wake up everyday with a stiff unusable wrist. Ultimately it was my choice to use him and to be pushed into the rushed surgery. Just wanting people to know I believe his recommendation needs a second opinion. I see him weekly at Walmart and hate to leave negative feed back but a man in his position should
