Immerse yourself in different things during high school. As important as learning and furthering your education is, enjoy the fun times and happiness at school. Take risks and push yourself. My high school years were made special by the love and caring nature of my teachers. They genuinely care for their students and want them to be the best they can possibly be.
They pushed me outside of my comfort zone and I will always be grateful for that. For me, high school was a grind-not a relief. For me, high school was uncertain-not a given. For students like me, the most taxing challenges are present outside of the classroom-not in it. Thank you Jill Borges for seeing that the exhaustion of the miles ran was nothing compared to the burden I carried when standing still.

The Fremont Union High School District hires and supports teachers, staff and school leaders who believe that all students can achieve at high levels, and who are committed to continuous improvement of their practice to ensure that students do so. We have no illusions about the difficulty and complexity involved in this effort.
The Board of Trustees encourages, listens to, and strongly values the input the public provides at Board meetings. The Board is interested in hearing from different individuals in order to hear an abundance of thoughtful perspectives that community members have to offer. Individuals may use up to three minutes to present their individual perspective to the Board.
It is our belief that regular, open-door meetings and dialogue between the Board and members of the community will help continue to strengthen positive communication and trust between the District and the students, families and residents that it serves. The Board recognizes that no more than two Board Members can be present at any given Office Hours session and that no decisions will be made by the Board Members in attendance.
All students must reside full-time within Fremont Union High School District boundaries to attend high school in the District. Therefore, the Fremont Union High School District goes to great lengths to insure that all students attending our schools live within our boundaries and do not qualify based on fraudulent information.
