Services
Egan Junior High is a two-year school located in Los Altos, California, and ranked within the top 20 Public Middle Schools in the state of California according to US News and World Report (out of 2319). Egan is one of two junior highs in the distinguished Los Altos School District. Located in the northern part of the district, Egan provides an outstanding education to over 650 students in seventh and eighth grades.
Seventh grade English provides instruction in the skills of literary analysis, written composition, grammar, vocabulary development, and speaking. Our literature study offers critical thinking and writing experiences students will participate in various activities, and discussions. The composition program emphasizes writing as a process: prewriting, writing, responding, revising, editing, and publishing.
Your student will be taking on a lot more responsibility, academic challenge, and social pressure.
