Here at Hassel Family Chiropractic, we are proud to help our patients live better lives without pain. We have a beautiful baby boy, and are expecting our second baby boy in September of 2018. I come from a big family - I am the youngest of six. My lovely mother had three boys and three girls. I have 10 nieces and nephews, and we all live on the south side of Des Moines within five minutes of each other.

While growing up, my best friend's dad was a chiropractor. I had exposure to chiropractic just a few times from him with injuries from various sports. In high school, I had more care with injuries with wrestling and football. Always, I was amazed with how chiropractic could help me get back to participation fast and help keep me there through the injuries that came with each season.
Dr. Lacey genuinely cares about every patient. She gives great holistic living advice and is extremely knowledgeable in chiropractic care. She is very caring and takes each case individually. I will highly recommend her to anyone. I've neglected my chiropractic care for a while now, and Hassel Family Chiropractic has me back on track. Dr. Hassel even convinced my husband that there is significant benefit from chiropractic care!

Gosh, where do I start. Let’s start with the orthotics that I purchased from Dr Hassel. When I receive them they were just handed to me. No instructions no nothing. When I got home I open the box and found that there were instructions. Instructions stated to wear them the first day for four hours and then build up to a full day adding one hour each day. I did that. And my feet were killing me. So I took them back. I spoke with Dr Hassel and he said “oh no you have to wear them for four hours for a month then build up. Okay, thanks for letting me know Doc. Honestly, what kind of a business is

I stopped by Doc’s office on my way to my “regular” doc. My throat had been hurting and glands were swollen all week. He gave e me a quick overview, cracked here cracked there, and I left. Went to my “regular” doc appointment, nothing was wrong. I paid $43 for an adjustment and paid a $75 copay to hear nothing is wrong.
Let me tell you, the very next day the glands were no longer swollen and my throat no longer hurt. Dr. Hassel does amazing work and I’d refer anyone and everyone to him.

Vince Hassel is a quack. This guy posts crazy stuff that's endangering people's lives and he doesn't care. If he posts crazy stuff like this do you think he cares about your health? This guy tells people the benefit of his service especially his KryoVitality and it hasn't even been proven. Find someone else before he injures you. This guy is seriously off the deep end.

Best chiropractic care I’ve received. I’ve been coming here for years and always leave feeling better. The front desk is extremely friendly from answering the phones, to making an effort on connecting with you as you walk in the doors. Both Dr. Hassel and Dr. Lacey are super friendly and do a really amazing job at listening to what you need and genuinely caring about your health.

Dr. Hassel has recently publicly posted information indicating a lack of belief in the utility of mask wearing, and has indicated that he believes poor hygeine and disregard for viral agents will allow you to build a better immune response to all illnesses, including COVID-19. This information is factually incorrect and outright dangerous, especially coming from someone who purports to be a "medical" professional. In most other countries, this kind of medical misdirection would be cause for license suspension.
