This place is an absolute joke. There is a guy named Steve that is affiliated with this company and its terrible business . I originally found him on Craigslist with a very Similar outboard as mine with a new powerhead and 1 year warranty. He asked me the issue with mine a told me that he would fix it right up and give me a year warranty. Need i mention this engine had been looked at by one mechanic on the side and a very reputable mercury dealer as well which both recommend to repower boat and didn't even want to mess with or fix my engine. (115 merc opti). Needless to say its been a nightmare

I called this store around 2:40 on 05/15/20 to try and find a boat part for my husband. The man on the phone quickly became very frustrated with me when I got confused about a question he has asked about the boat. I apologized and let him know that I was trying to help my husband out and I wasn't as familiar as I should have been. He said "right yeah.. well could you have your husband give us a call?", in a very rude tone. He did not try to help me in any way and treated me like I was a bother and not a potential paying customer. It's 2020 and this business needs to get a little more progressive

Chris has been a Godsend. I bought an older boat and it had alot of problems that I did not know about. Because of Chris and Dockside Marine it is now ready to go in the water. He really cared about me from the beginning. Dockside is lucky they have him. If he ever leaves I'll take my business with him.

Chris was amazing!!!! From his helpfulness on the phone, to his knowledge of parts. Was even able to figure out exactly what I was describing i needed without exact serial numbers and this like that. I would love to never need to get parts or work done on my boat again, but when I do I will be calling Chris and going to Dockside Marine!!!!

Dockside Marine has been keeping me on the water for 7+ years now. I have 2 boats. My Stratos bass boat has a 1999 Evinrude Ficht 150 (I know, run right?) and my Proline 23 Sport has a Mercury Optimax 225 Saltwater. Chris and the guys at Dockside have done a GREAT job keeping my Ficht running VERY well. So well that I get compliments how good it sounds and runs. And when the Optimax needs service, it's always done right! Only time old parts were laying in the well is so they could show me what the problem was. And even then the parts were in a ziplock bag so they wouldn't dirty my boat

I have taken my boats there many times and each time it's slow service and a lot of money. When I finally pick up my boat it's dirty and extra parts are laying everywhere. Now after getting the boat home and checking the boat over it doesn't start, batteries are dead and some things don't work. So I call Chris to tell him my problems and it takes another 3-weeks to get my boat back. Of course it still does not run correctly on the water after spending $4500 and instead of taking it back, I do some research and find a bad fuel pump. So I repair the boat and then Labor Day weekend

I have never posted a google review before. This will be my first and likely my last. I have owned boats for over 30 years. Over the last decade plus, I have taken a variety of boats and related motors to Dockside Marine for inspection, service and repair. The team there does excellent work. They are highly trained, reliable, honest and fair. Chris, in particular, has invested considerable time with me when I have faced motor issues. He thoroughly explains the details of any diagnosis, his recommendations, his estimates and any perceived risks of possible alternatives. Moreover, he has educated
