Alternative Home Health Care is a home health agency owned and operated by nurses with over 20 years experience in healthcare with the last 10 years specializing in home care management. We provide in-home nursing and rehabilitation care for those with medical and or mental illness. We seek to be an alternative to more structured health care settings for those who wish to remain in their home and the community.

At Alternative Home Health Care, our mission is to work in active partnership with all community providers and caregivers to ensure that all our patients receive the highest quality of care and support needed in helping them stay independent in the place they call home. We are committed to always respecting our patient's individual rights and actively support, promote, and encourage their participation in their health care choices.
Non- Medical Transportation can be defined as a transportation service provided to individuals who are not in an emergency situation but need more assistance than a taxi service is able to provide. Service providers will be specially equipped to transport riders in wheelchairs, stretchers or with other special needs.
Here at Alternative Home Health Care, LLC, we are committed to providing excellent and trustworthy home care services, and a professionally trained staff to deliver superior medical care in the comfort of your own home. From pain management and physical therapy programs to wound care and social work, our home care team is experienced in providing in-home nursing, rehabilitation, and case management services to patients across our communities.

We brought home a medically complex two month old from Boston Children’s this October. It was incredibly overwhelming organizing her feeding/med schedule, supplies, appointments, etc, especially given how exhausted we were (are) and the fact that we also have a two and four year old. AHHC was set up by our case manager at Children’s, and we are so grateful!
Our nurse, Nancy, is not only a wonderful clinician, but she gave us great advice for organizing supplies and paperwork. She makes me sit and eat/drink while we talk and asks me how I’m sleeping, how I’m taking care of myself. She calls

Christina is truly the best! She cared for me after I had my twin boys and then cared for the boys when they came home from the nicu. Christina is amazing at what she does, you can tell she enjoys what she does and she really cares about her patients. I’m sad we no longer have visits but she’s for sure a life long friend ! Thank you Christina for everything!

Christina visited me at my home twice during my first week home after giving birth. She was truly a shining light during a really difficult time for me. I was obviously sleep deprived and learning how to be a mom, but also dealing with debilitating pain. Christina was extremely kind, thorough, encouraging and caring. She continued to follow up and provide advice even after her home visits. I’m so glad the hospital set this up for me and highly recommend Christina and alternative home health care.

Working at Alternaltive home health care has been a wonderful experience. I truly enjoy the family-like atmosphere that’s full of teaching, learning and support. Christina has been wonderful from taking care of me after my cesarian section, to caring for my premature triplets and making sure they were healthy and growing. She was friendly, attentive, made us feel as tho we were in good hands and answered all of our questions. We would strongly recommend Alternative Home Health Care!

I had my postpartum visits with Christina. She is so compassionate, friendly and eager to help with not only the physical aspects of my postpartum visits, but the emotional as well. She has given me great care and her experience and bedside manner shine. So happy to have had this set up with her! It’s already made a world of difference to me and our home.

I had my postpartum visit with Nancy M. yesterday. Nancy was flexible with scheduling and was very conscious of covid protocols upon entering my home. Nancy was very thorough and was able to answer all my questions in regards to my recovery. Nancy even supported my baby with his latch during breastfeeding. As a first time mom, this visit with Nancy was so incredibly helpful and can only speak positively in regards to my home visit.

I was fortunate enough to have Alternative Home Health Care services as I transitioned home after a difficult labor and delivery of my first baby. Nurse Nancy was everything a new mom needs post-partum. She was professional, knowledgeable, supportive, compassionate, and very generous with her time. Nancy was responsive and made herself available to answer questions and offer advice, even after work hours. My baby and I received top level treatment and I will be forever grateful to have had Nancy help me through my recovery process.
