Dr. Kelly Hoyt grew up in Overland Park on a farm helping care for horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and cattle. Following high school she received a RN degree from JCCC and practiced as an operating room nurse for 10 year before returning to school to pursue her true love which is veterinary medicine.

Grooming Report

Here at Heritage Animal Hospital, we are very proud to offer grooming services for your pet. Well groomed pets look and feel better! They also have fewer health issues, especially with their skin and ears! Grooming is done by appointment only so be sure to contact us today to get your pet sparkling clean and happy!

House Calls Report

There are many challenges in caring for an animal that cannot be moved from their location for one reason or another. Please let us know of any specific requests or conditions that will require special attention. We promise to communicate with you throughout the process to make sure it goes smoothly for you and your animal.

Breeding Report

We are proud to offer equine reproductive services, provided by a knowledgeable and experienced staff. We offer a range of reproductive services, and we utilize state of the art technology to ensure the health of your horse. Some of the services we provide include fertility services, embryo transfer, as well as artificial insemination.

Here at Heritage Animal Hospital, we are very excited to offer nutritional counseling for pet owners in Spring Hill, KS and the surrounding communities. Nutrition is so important for pets throughout their lives. As animals age, their nutritional needs change. There are puppy, adult, and senior diets to accommodate pets' changing needs.

These people have been our go-to for the last 3 years. If you live in Spring Hill I would highly recommend going here. Vet and staff on-call 24/7, over the phone consults and chats, we are very fortunate for having them in our community!

My daughter has taken her two PressaCanars there, which are very huge dogs for years and has always had good things to say about them and how well they care for her two dogs! She definitely recommends them for there quality of care and there prices are very reasonable .

These wonderful vets did it again. Came to my house to save my horse who had colic late at night. Great attitudes even in the cold dealing with a sick horse. Got him fixed up and then called next morning to check on him. These gals rock!!!!

Dr. Hoyt and her staff have gone above and beyond with all of my animals but even more recently with the delivery of our pups and saving them! They work with so much compassion and love for each and every animal they see! I always know they are in the best care at Heritage!
