Dr. V. began his educational pursuits at Samford University where he completed dual undergraduate degrees in Biology and Political Science. Prior to dental school, he served on Capitol Hill and abroad as a Congressional Fellow working with the International Foundation. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of North Carolina.
From our child-friendly waiting area to our entertaining treatment rooms, we've designed an inviting environment for your child including TVs, iPads, beverages, charging areas, etc. With advanced training in pediatric behavioral management, Dr. V. uses laughter, learned skills, and heartfelt compassion to help make your child's visit more comfortable and carefree.
A child-centered atmosphere helps children relax and enjoy their time with us. Not only does it make treatment easier for both parent and child, but an enjoyable association with dental visits lays the foundation for a lifetime of oral health. We love kids. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children see a dentist by their first birthday to ensure all is progressing well. We offer a full range of pediatric dental solutions from infancy through adolescence. Fluoride makes teeth harder and more resistant to decay. A higher concentration can be applied professionally to your child's teeth for maximum protection.

My son was referred to Growing Smiles for an impacted baby tooth. They saw him the very next day for the exam as well as the procedure. They were extremely kind to my son and did everything they could to make him feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend this practice for your children’s dental needs.

My first visit with my 4 yo was not terrible, but it wasn't great. We have experienced better care in the past and will be looking for a new pediatric dentistry. The staff were patient and kind, but in the end two things turned me off. First, I paid $250 to have her teeth brushed with a disposable toothbrush (she was too nervous about the electric wand). Second, while Dr. V was "kind" he came across as very condescending. Again, not terrible, but not worth a second visit.

They were genuinely so nice there. They answered my questions, even as I was nervous. They made me feel comfortable to actually ask questions, and.
