Services
Guests of Pleasantdale Chateau also have the opportunity to enjoy an overnight stay with us in one of our 30 rooms on the estate. Our brides and grooms are offered a complimentary bridal suite within the Chateau for the night of their wedding. Additional rooms for their closest family and friends are also made available at their discretion.

My husband and I fell in love with Pleasantdale from the moment we stepped on the grounds, and we couldn't be happier with our choice of wedding venue. When we first started planning, Fred and his team listened to all our wishes and were so accommodating, including a reschedule through covid. We were able to visit the grounds many times and visualize everything we wanted for the day. Closer to our date, Dawn was so helpful in getting all the last minute details in place, from bridesmaids gifts, to my wedding dress, to table cards. Words cannot express our experience at the Pleasantdale Chateau. Our wedding day was the most magical day and we couldn't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else! Throughout the entire planning process, which tends to be stressful, the staff at the Pleasantdale made everything so easy and pleasant. We had a magical couple of days there for my daughter's wedding. The attention to detail and responsiveness of the staff was beyond compare. The cocktail hour, reception and after party were like nothing else I have ever experienced at a wedding! The food was amazing and the venue is beautiful inside and out.

Everything about this place is amazing from start to finish! You get the full venue to yourself and your guest for 24 hours. From start to finish, Fred and his team cover every detail, and leave no room for errors. Every room has its own character, its own beautiful touch which makes the place in itself so unique. This place is the definition of magic! I had been looking at so many different venues for my wedding and I was getting frustrated because I hadn't found the right one. One afternoon I came home and googled "castle wedding venues NJ" and this was listed. I arranged a visit and the second I got out of the car I said "wow". The grounds are beautiful with the most colorful flowers and greenery. The most incredible experience. My husband and I just had our wedding at the Pleasantdale Chateau on Sunday and it was beyond incredible. The venue is beautiful, the food is delicious but the service is just above and beyond. From the beginning Fred was so great in helping us plan the wedding. Hilda, Santiago, Bryan, Camilla and the rest of the team were so professional and helpful. Highly recommend this venue and team! We had not a single worry on our wedding day, we knew we were in great hands.

The moment we stepped through the doors on our walk through, we knew Pleasantdale was where we wanted to get married. The delightful staff, the grounds, and the European charm all captivated us. Our wedding day started early with us utilizing the bridal & groom suites -- our bridal attendants were bar none! They didn't miss a beat and were truly happy to help us. Went for a friends wedding. This venue was ridiculous. Definitely one to remember!
The wedding happened at the beginning of covid so quite a few people didn't show up. I probably would have taken more photos if the atmosphere wasn't so awkward. I sort of regret not photographing the cocktail hour - it was insane.
The ceremony was cute and in a big elegant hall. Then cocktail hour was filled with stations in the hallway and in a separate room. Pasta, pinwheels, seafood (oysters, crab, shrimp and more), suckling pig, roasted meats, cheeses and charcuterie, you name it.

As wedding photographers, my husband and I absolutely LOVE Pleasantdale Chateau! There is so much to photograph on site that we can spend hours there just exploring the property, taking amazing photos. It was the best night of my family's life. From the second we booked the palace with Fred, we felt comfortable immediately. He helped us with every detail his right hand, man Santiago was amazing.
Fred's attention to detail was incredible as promised. The food was a ten the service was absolutely unbelievable down to every detail.
I have been to many weddings nothing comes close to this place.
The grounds spectacular having rooms for the families to stay overnight was like having them in your home.

Pleasantdale Chateau is this beautiful venue in West Orange, NJ.
K and I have attended many weddings together, and this was one of the top wedding venues (as a guest). The food was excellent and diverse and the staff treated guest like royalty.
K and I were guests at our friends wedding in Oct 2018. The Chateau treated gave us excellent service! From when you drive up into the Chateau (valet service) for the cocktail hours (drinks with cinnamon sticks, coat checks) to throughout the reception (white gloved service with a waiter taking our drink orders).
We were ushered inside to wander the

What a beautiful venue this is! I had the pleasure of attending a wedding here and what an amazing experience it was. Firstly, the property is situated on 40 acres of private land. It is a beautiful, secluded, & intimate setting for a wedding. The actual chateau building looks like a castle. Inside and out it has such a charming feel and gorgeous decor.
