Dr Gilbert Ruiz is always a delight to interact with, knowledgeable and has alot of care for his patients, from adults to kids.
Interacted with the frames department and it was the best experience I have had in years searching for frames. Great trendy options in affordable price points, and great feedback from the technician.

Dr Lum was a complete professional. He was kind, informative, patient, and explained everything so well. My husband has dementia but it’s very important for him to have people treat him kindly & not talk down to him. Dr Lum did just that. My husband will get new glasses that will help him immensely and I’m so grateful for that!

Staff is super friendly. Office is very efficient. I haven’t had my prescription change in many years, so my time with the doctor is super quick.

Dr Chang is the best optometrist in the valley 😉

I've heard more about my vision than in 10 previous visits. Not just because vision usually does not improve with years, but because Dr. Gilbert Ruiz is either more knowledgeable doctor or he shares more with his patients. I've had examination of eyes with pupils dilated and micro photography of both eyes to be used for reference in the future. Of 4 optometry offices I've been in 25 years in Bay Area to, this one is the 1 I'll stick with. Primary reason is because I get exhaustive information on my eyes and vision which surpasses what other doctors shared in the past.

Been seen here for years and have always had wonderful care. From the moment I walk in to the moment I leave I feel truly cared for. Everyone is pleasant and always helpful. Thank you Family Eye Care Center!

It was a very comfortable visit. The Dr. was easy to talk to. After some tests and examinations. We discussed a few options. He gave some samples try out and to follow up in a week. I liked that a lot.

I was very pleased with the relaxed and professional manner with which Dr. Chang and his assistants conducted each part of my yearly eye examination. He answered all of my questions to my complete satisfaction. He carefully explained my options. I will continue to recommend him and entrust him with the care of. my vision.

Dr. Hwang and her team are amazing. They’re so accommodating by scheduling me in for an appointment after work. The team is so nice that I also referred my boyfriend who got nice prescription sunglasses in store. Will definitely be back!

Very nice and streamlined experience. All staff/techs/doctors are super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly so you get good care. When I last visited they made sure I got everything done that's covered under my insurance!
