3.5:
Very clean atmosphere and casual atmosphere with a bar on the first floor. Upstairs leans more to a higher end restaurant feel.
Service was attentive and the drink/food orders arrived at the table quickly.
I leave 3 stars because the food was really not up to par in my opinion, especially when prices suggest a finer dining experience.
The clam chowder, soup of the day, was luke-Warm, especially on a freezing cold day this was disappointing. Tasted good, but hard to look past the serving temperature.
My main issue was my entree. I ordered The “Delmonico” steak medium rare. It came

I have passed the Porterhouse hundreds of times but finally had a chance to dine there! I'm mad I haven't been here sooner! It was much more of a relaxed atmosphere than what I thought. We dined upstairs and it was great. Our server was Jordan and she was excellent, very personable, honest and great service. I will be back!

Driving through town and my boyfriend and I decided to stop here for lunch on whim - wonderfully surprised! Atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, many other happy customers enjoying their meals. Our server Hannah was gracious and delightful. We ordered a cup of tomato soup, a harvest salad, and the French dip, and a beer & glass of wine to pair...absolutely amazing! Fresh, delicious and savory. We will definitely come back and this time with friends and family to share the joyful experience! Xoxo

Overall not the best experience, but I have to believe it's was due to the time of year (very busy around the holidays) and low staff. The restaurant was very loud which made it difficult to talk, and the food delivery took well over an hour with some dishes spending way too much time sitting before being delivered. The filet and burgers were tasty (buns too big on burgers) but the other dishes suffered. Would advise sticking with the meats and coming on a week night or after the holidays. Service was very good and understanding.

I come here every fall when I am in the area. The menu has a great selection in terms of food and beer. If you like chili, make sure to get theirs as it is some if my favorite. If you go before sundown and get a window table, the view is great. If you want more of a sports bar feel, stay downstairs.

Update on a 3rd visit on 10/16/22: This spot is consistently stellar. Brought family there last weekend and they raved about it as well. Best French Onion Soup EVER! It was first time sitting at table versus bar service. Server was very busy with many tables. She handled it well, but that results in a lack of personal attention. This spot is the best!
Second visit to this incredible spot - can't rave enough. Food incredible, staff so attentive and run like crazy to take care of everyone and every dining need. Fried pickles exactly what they should be - crunchy batter (not oily or heavy); salad

I got the fried chicken sandwich and my husband the French dip for lunch. The food, the service, the cocktails and the ambience was phenomenal. We sat upstairs overlooking the open fields and farms and chatted with an elderly couple who seemed like regulars there, really good conversation with some really good people. We had a very pleasant experience.

Where to start (summer):
Outdoor sitting with excellent view.
Very friendly waiters.
Food was very good, both adult and kids plates.
Definitely a great dinning experience.
We ordered roast pork sandwich, brisket sandwich, kid's hamburger, and kid's steak. All very well cooked, juicy and we'll balanced with veggies or whatever side you might prefer.
Good selection of drinks for adults and kids.
Prices are ok as well, no complaints.
Bathrooms very clean.
