I was recommended to have Ke do my nails. I was excited to have a pedicure and manicure since I haven't had one in months because of Shelter-In-Place. Well, I am really really disappointed in my pedicure and manicure. First, she cut a chunk of my skin on my big toe which hurts very bad and I can't wear a closed shoe(pic included). I didn't realize how bad it was until the next day when it was so sore. You can see where it was bleeding in the corner. Secondly, she did not scrub my feet well. I still have so much extra dry skin. I do understand that a nail tech can't take every

Amazing! I came here for my bday with my partner and we had an excellent time. We got facials and mani pedis. We also received excellent customer service and education on skin and nail care. You can tell that Ke and Maritza really care about their clients and their work. I would absolutely recommend coming here for your skin and nail services.
We scheduled appointments online (which was easy to do), received reminders, and they were ready for us upon arrival.

Went here for a fill because I had an event to go to and my normal lady was away taking care of her spouse in the military. I Wouldn’t go here again for extensions, I left thinking they were fine and within a couple days they had started hurting and feeling very heavy. None of my lashes were separated and there were clumps of glue I could feel sitting on top of the lashes. Separating the lashes is the most important part. When my regular lash lady could get me in, It took her an extra thirty minutes to just separate and take off the clumped together lashes I had gotten from this salon. Which

This is a jewel box of a nail spa. Personalized attention, warm and talented manicurists and a great approach to nail care. Had a fantastic manicure and pedicure and plan to come back routinely. Easy scheduling online, well chosen products - some they make themselves, and conscious of their customer' time issues. A real find!!!

Ke is such a delight to talk to, but my finished manicure was poorly done. The polish looks streaky even after three coats, and was sloppily applied at the cuticle. They use a "quick dry" top coat rather than fans - no option to use a fan - which messed up one of my nails within an hour. Also, when I first called and asked how much just a nail color change was, the lady was very confused as to what a "color change" was and snarkily told me to look at their website, which outlines their services. The website states they do nail polish changes.

I'll start by saying Ke is super nice - so the 3 stars. With that said, it's a random spot and you put your feet in a bucket of hot water, not like a normal pedicure chair. The basic price is $20, but I'm not too happy that for an extra 15$ she "scrubbed" my feet for about 2 minutes extra than she did my friends, so my total was $35.
I'm all for supporting the local businesses, but I work hard for my money so I when I spend it to pamper myself, I'd like to get bang for my buck.

Always great service and a great pedicure. Good conversation, if in the mood, and I always learn something about the neighborhood. They are a great small business and asset to the community. The convenience of night and weekend hours and booking online for late schedulers like me make the fantastic service even better. They use new files for each customer, and they have a great selection of pedicure types and polish. This is definitely a neighborhood gem.

I like simple, natural nails and Nailphoria does a great job with that.I also like to feel that I am being pampered and not rushed or have to listen to nail techs' conversations. Nice shaping and scrubbing. No toxic smelling products or crowded spaces. Nice availability of colors but Ke is always fine with me bringing my own. Definitely my go-to spot when I am in the neighborhood and need nail or wax services!

I had one of the best waxing experience at Nailphoria. From the moment I walked in the staff greeted me by name. They were very friendly and personable.
My wax esthetician, Megan was flawless. I appreciated that she asked me which type of wax I preferred and even did a skin test on herself before she placed the wax on my skin. Overall, my Brazilian waxing experience was very painless and thorough.
I would recommend Nailphoria Day Spa because they are both professional and friendly. Also, they are centally located in downtown Oakland which is conveniently close to both the 19th and 12th Street

I really, really wanted to like this place and the manicurist was super nice, but my french tip gel mani was so sloppily done that I had to go elsewhere to get it corrected. There were remnants of my old color in places as well as bubbles and patches. Also, the French tip was done with the big, standard size nail brush so it looks really sloppy and uneven.
I asked her to clean up 3 of the worst ones but when I saw the corrections were just as bad the originals, I gave up and resigned to getting it fixed elsewhere.

Really friendly and attentive and I wanted to give them a good review however my day old pedicure is already chipping.
Also you could see my old polish peeking out from the corner of one of the nails.
The massage and scrub on the basic pedicure was a nice touch but paying $30 for a basic pedi and still dirty heels is not fun. Don't know if I'd return :(
