Constance Joseph who has been with this facility for the last decade is part of the many issues here. She is blatantly disrespectful towards others making it an unpleasant environment. Lacks both professionalism, empathy, and great sense of knowledge of updated practices in this facility. When asked a far from complex question, she as a HR director with a 13 year tenure could not provide an answer. Her incompetence and unpleasant behavior makes one question if this facility is the right place to bring our loved ones.

My father is on his death bed because of this place. This place isthe reason that he have bed sores. Now his a immune system can't fight the infection off. Then I get yelled at by some nurse when called, and she said I couldn't speak to him. Now he's fighting for his life.

My family member was discharged from this facility and would like to give a big shout out to the nurses Shirley and Darrel. And his rehab team, especially Cece who helped him with not only therapy, but emotional support and encouragement as well. Our family is very grateful for the staff that had to work under uncertain circumstances due to the COVID pandemic. He is on to the next step in his recovery thanks to the hard work of these people. Your efforts do not go unnoticed…. Ps he loved the grilled cheese!!!

If i could give a zero star I would dietary aide manager “Carolina” is the absolute worst. Was not polite on the phone and smacked her lips whenever a certain question was asked and would avoid answering. At one point she set her phone down thinking she muted me as i heard her ranting and swearing about me to whoever was nearby. Please be aware of the type of people you guys hire

My mom had a very serious health crisis that landed her in critical condition in the ICU. When she finally got out after a month in the hospital she was very weak and unable to care for herself. Fortunately she came here, to South Holland Manor, for her rehabilitation! The physical therapists, particularly Jamie and Camille (and Dave & Yasha), were so encouraging and helped her regain so much strength and stamina during her stay. This is my fourth time coming for rehab and I keep coming back for a reason. I rank it a 5 star especially due to the therapy. Jamie and Camelle are excellent therapist, the list goes on and on. They work great as a team. It has been nice this time around as well as the times before. I cannot forget to mention Andrea and Shirley in nursing. Also, Angel, she was my nurse the very first time I went to rehab and is still taking good care of everyone. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place because it is a good place. I'm leaving but I'm leaving with a heavy heart because I love so many people

This place is a train wreck! The staff does not care about the patients, they only do something when they see you coming or complain. It’s dirty and smells. The pictures on the website are misleading everything in the rooms are old, used and needs to be replaced. I work in the healthcare industry and in my opinion this place needs an overhaul from top to bottom, including the staff! To rate it one star is way too much! I will call the state on this facility every chance I get until something changes! I will say it again to rate this facility one star is an over statement!

If I didn't have to give this facility a star, I wouldn't because even one star is too much! My mother was accidentally taken to this facility for rehab, and when I called to verify she was being transported to the correct facility, I received nothing but a nasty attitude! To say this staff member was unprofessional is an understatement!! When she finally answered my question, she attempted to half-heartedly apologize for the confusion but by then, I was furious! I had to remind her this was my mother, but I could tell she'll never understand until HER mother is in this situation. I feel for the

My uncle lost 15 lbs in 12 days here. Nobody paid attention to him and he didn't feel safe. Please don't send anyone you love here. We were surprised to see his condition, upon leaving, because staff was very professional/helpful over the phone.

This place is beautiful on the outside. When you get inside it is beautiful too. But when you see it close up, it is a different story. It is filthy. The rooms are dirty, floors not mopped. Patients stink. My friend is there, and hopefully not for long. The nursing staff is uncaring and useless. This place is,TERRIBLE. They fool you when you first do the tour. Show you the shiny part. You can't see the crud below the surface. This is my opinion of this place. Look very close if you are planning to place someone there. You might regret it. Again, my opinion. Carolyn
