There is not enough staff there. There was a lady who threatened to put my grandmother into bed. Seriously, who does that?! As soon as we can find another place, my grandmother is so out of there!

The good things about this place are some of the staff are friendly and professional, It's has to hard dealing with the elderly. The bad it is an older facility that is not that clean. Some of the staff need a career move. They might be short staffed and over worked

If I could give this facility less than 1 star, I would. My Grandmother was in this facility for about a month, and during the whole time she was there, they kept her over medicated, had rashes from them leaving soiled diapers on her, and they didn't even make sure she was getting nutrition. They would bring her food, but when she wouldn't eat.. that was that... No further investigation onto why she wasn't eating. By the time my Mother removed her from the facility, she was worse than when she arrived. She had a severe UTI, that almost killed her and she was very lethargic, tongue hanging out of

I have to say, I was skeptical about placing my loved in a nursing facility altogether but I’m so pleased at the care my mom is receiving. I would recommend this place to anyone. They also have a beautiful assisted living too at the facility-we can’t afford but wow!!!

Thaaaaank you so much.
I cannot put into words the gratitude I have, and want to thank Jen in admissions for all her help with this experience. I was scared to let my mother go into someone else’s care, but Jen and her staff have gone above and beyond anything I could imagine to put some of these thoughts at ease.

I read the post from David Gladish. You dont have to worry about your loved one at this facility being injured, abused, neglected or anything else. They will get the best of care because you are an attorney. . The rest of us arent that lucky. We have to make sure that we were staying on top of the situation at all times which we had to do. My sister was neglected ALOTduring the time of day when we werent there. We visited twice a day and we still found her uncared for and neglected. Your loved one gets the best of care . Sue and Mark were the best nurses. Pat and Cathy and Helen were great night

This place deserves no stars. Office workers are ignorant, especially the book keeper Laura. She has no personal skills at all. Facility sees my mother isn't doing well, and wait almost a week to send her out to hospital, already knowing she had a bad fall recently. A fall that happen due to poor roommate pairing, putting my mother at greater risk of falling. When my mother was in the hospital, someone went through her belongings and stole from her. When I went to pick her things up, I catch a worker in the room on the phone. Since she was hiding behind the curtain, I can only assume she wasn't

Honestly this is the WORST nursing home my grandfather could’ve EVER been placed in. He wasnt given the proper long term care he needed resulted in him ending back up in the hospital. We had to damn near tell the nurses and CNA’s and whoever else in this place when to change his stuff. His bag would always need changing and when we asked them to change it they would take their sweet time to actually come in the room. When he went to the hospital the nice nurse there asked my mother when was the last time my grandfathers thing was changed. My mom replied Sunday and the nurse looked upset and

My grandma has been here for 6 months. She came here for rehab and she is now going to call this place home. The care has been great. My grandma is coming out her shell and is really starting to like the activities and has made some friends. I gave 4 stars only because they need some more private rooms.

It was my aunt that got to experience the compassion and care of this Nursing Home after her stroke. While I don't live in Indiana, I called her frequently and the staff was so wonderful about keeping me up to date. When I went back on vacation and got to spend time with my Aunt Alice, I was floored by how beautiful and clean the facility was - and the care was phenomenal. I don't want to have to go into a facility in my lifetime, but if it happens I hope I am someplace like Dyer Nursing in Indiana.
