I recently closed my account at UFCU, reasons below.
Issue # 1.
I requested a banker remove my wife from our joint account. He said sure, and sent me a form I needed to fill out. I did and he told me he took her off.
Eight months go by and I find out my wife is still on my account. OK, mistakes happen, even though I have an email stating that he removed her. Let's work together and get it fixed right? Logical thing to do.
I emailed the banker TWICE, replying on the original email I sent him with the document my wife signed. I never heard back from him. I called the bank on the

Hi, I hope that this info will reach Teller # 2857 at the Palm Valley location in Round Rock, Texas. I'm sorry you took it personal I did not want to chit chat about my day, as I recently had fraud on my account, and have been awaiting a card for a week now, was forced to drive to the Palm Valley location in Round Rock, as my closest UFCU location (Parmer/Scofield) isn't servicing drive-thru, and is by appointments only, then I had to wait in a line for over 30 minutes. Inside is an awful experience. First off, there is no indication when, where, or how to check in; you have to go up and ask someone in order to have a simple thing done that could have easily been labeled "please check in here", after signing your name the device doesn't even say your checked in or how long wait it will be. All the bankers are moving like they have nothing to do while clients are waiting! Annoying. There were 3 people who came in after me and were helped within 5 minutes, while I was waiting for 20! Unacceptable! I had to actually call another customer service branch

I usually have a positive experience with this branch, but today I had a not so good experience and wanted to complain. I went into the bank and there was a gentleman there that walked in as well. I was the first one to sign in on their monitor. The other guy signed in after me. We waited for a while. Note my only reason there was to cancel an appointment. Finally one of the reps finished and the guy that was inline behind me got up and went to the rep. What good is signing in if someone can cut inline? I'm not happy with this at all and I feel UFCU should know.

I had banked with UFCU for about 15 years, all was good until you know what hit the fan (ie. husband got laid off and paying credit card and car loan became difficult). As soon as things started getting bad the demon spawns of the collection world came out. If a bank is only there when life is great and awful when things are bad, you begin to see what they stand for.

I had to come here to use the shared branch services since my credit union is in Virginia. There was a credit union closer to my home but they no longer participate in the program. Therefore, I had to come to this location. I pressed the call button and no one answered and then had to press it. Again like 5 minutes later bc I had been sitting there 20 minutes. I'm sick my ears are clogged and Apparently the canister was sent and the teller didn't even come back asking was that all nor have a nice day. This is poor customer service

Right now I give this bank 5 stars. We went in and were greeted right away. Grace (employee) was great and very nice. She answered all of our questions and did not push us to open an account. Also they check your credit just to make sure we didn't see any fraud. Also did an analysis on our car loans to see if they can get us better deal. Very nice and we will see how our banking experience will go from here on out.

Went in to open up new accounts because I'm unhappy with Wells Fargo after 10 years. I looked online to open a new account but decided to take a day off work to go in person and speak to someone.
But they were all too busy to acknowledge me. The only option I had was to stand awkwardly in the middle of the bank floor. At least at Wells Fargo someone always poked there head up to say "We'll be right with you."

I don't think I have ever experience such a level of customer service when working with a bank. I stumbled upon UFCU when trying to get a car loan. The whole process was a total pleasure! I know right! A PLEASURE! They made it super simple and gave me a the best interest rate of any car I have ever financed.
The week I bought my car was awful because I had a million other things to deal with. I ended up signing my loan documents on my iPhone! How awesome is that? David, my loan guy, was on top of it the whole way and the car lot I dealt with was also very impressed with how easy everything
