Retonica transforms spaces into works of art. From concerts to weddings, our designers create and control a complete design and production. Lighting can change magically change throughout the event, or simply paint the space in beautiful light of any color imaginable. Uplighting has become the Gold Standard of event lighting. Lights are placed around a room or outside, and light is aimed up at a wall. It creates atmosphere where none previously existed, and can completely transform a room. Our uplights are smaller and brighter than most, and are wireless, battery-powered, intelligent, and connected.
The Peabody Parklet is a pop-up installation that can be reconfigured into any shape/space for community events. For this event, and a budget of less than $25, we created a canopy out of bubble wrap and lit it from below with uplights. The same effect could be achieved with paper or fabric, but in this case it needed to be weatherproof and reusable.
Hotel ballrooms and function facilities are often beautiful and very neutral in decor. This allows us to create all types of looks from high-energy parties to elegant candlelit dinners, all at the touch of a button and all wirelessly and battery-powered. We can put light in, on, and around most anything--even water.
For performers, lighting is of the utmost importance. However, a great number of venues have completely outdated lighting--or no lighting at all. Using our system of completely-wireless, battery-powered lighting, we are able to transform any space that previously would have remained dark. Our lighting is also DMX compatible, allowing us to integrate with other lighting boards and fixtures if need be.

If i could add a title to these reviews, Joey's would be: "joey to the rescue"! A little bit of context: Finding a vendor for the lighting and decor for our wedding was the hardest task for me- even harder than finding my wedding dress (and I tried on 118 dresses before finding mine!). After spending hours on pinterest and other decor related websites for inspiration, contacting every single vendor within 30 miles of Boston, I still didn't know what I wanted. Given my lack of focus, other vendors were very impatient with me, but then I found Joey! He was incredibly understanding from the very beginning
