I made a verbal gentleman's agreement with Mike to perform some welding work.
We agreed on two welds, one on a pipe and one on a trailer for a set amount.
After completing only one weld Mike refused to perform the second weld and would not return our trailer unless I paid him.
Mike would not perform the second weld and instead replied it would be extra!
What a shame that a man's word is worth nothing anymore.

Mike, the owner of this fine company did a stainless steel job for a customer of mine. This is a very important customer to me. They welded a custom stainless screen for a piece of equipment. But unfortunately they welded one of the screens upside down so the rough edge was damaging the customers products. They tried buffing it, but that didn't help. So finally after numerous calls they installed a new screen upright this time. But they charged us additional to fix the issue due to their carelessness.
