The power of Karate comes from optimizing the power behind technique and strategy to overcome brute force. Whether you are interested in learning self defense, getting in shape, or developing discipline, and confidence in a child, Colorado Karate Club is the perfect place to help you achieve your goals!.

For Children and Youth: Karate, in addition to being a very effective self defense tool, is also an amazing formative tool for children and youth alike. Students gain focus and concentration, while molding a character based on discipline and mutual respect. Many parents already know the very positive effects that Karate training has had on their children.
Services
Colorado Karate Club was founded in 2005 by Sensei Willy Strohmeier to continue a long tradition of excellence in the Shotokan style of Karate-Do. This tradition began in the 1960's when Sensei Kenji Kimura is sent by the Japan Karate-do Association (JKA) to the country of Peru to expand the practice of Karate-do.
Our Pre-Karate program is an age and ability appropriate Karate program designed specifically for young children ages 3 to 5. It teaches basic Karate skills using safe, fun, high energy drills and activities, but it also emphasizes safety and life skills; skills that promote social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth.
If you're looking for a fun way to help your child to boost their confidence, improve their self-discipline and blow off a little steam, consider our Youth Karate classes. We provide an excellent class which focuses on Traditional Karate training and important life skills and self defense techniques.
If you're ready to learn how to protect yourself, plus get an awesome workout that keeps you lean, fit and exploding with energy, then you are in the right place. Adults find it a very rewarding experience, physically and mentally. Aside from the physical aspect of Karate training, it is a great way to relieve stress, focus your mind, and enjoy a great complete discipline.
Students line up according to rank on a straight line, feet together and hands to the side, and facing forward. 2. "Seiza " = come to a sitting position on the knees, legs under the body and feet facing back, the body remains straight, and the hands come to rest on the legs - do not use your hands when going to seiza or standing up.

Seriously the BEST decision we could have made! Both of my kiddos joined at 3 yrs old. We are proud to say that we are still members 4 years later! The amount of growth, strength, confidence, character, discipline, and leadership my kids have thanks to CKC is amazing. We have found so much more than karate class here. We found a community. A family.
THANK YOU CKC! We are blessed to know and train with you all ❤
