Clean, varied affordable menu. A departure from the chic, overpriced, omnipresent kale salad purveyors. Salad, sandwiches and sides with ingredients you'll recognize as food. The staff is cheerful and efficient.

I came in after hopping off the BART, straight from the airport with bags in tow. The workers I interacted with here were so nice, and my hangry travel self was subdued. The bagel sandwich I got was incredible. A lovely little pop in on a stressful day for me.

This was our first stop for food after arriving late the night before , so we were hungry. The pictures made everything look so good. However, our bagel melts left something to be desired. The egg in the melts needed salt. Also, if you order a coffee with any flavoring, like vanilla, don't expect it. I like my coffee sweet, but it was brewed well. No bitterness. This is for the traditionalists when it comes to their coffee.

I really like the Italian sub. It's a solid sandwich we'll worth the price. Almost every sandwich I've ordered here was a win. Just stay away from the bacon heavy sandwiches like the BLT. Unfortunately they use that really thin, tasteless, microwave bacon that a lot of sandwich places in SF like to use instead of the real thing. Which is just sad.

Solid lunch option in soma. Pre-pandemic i would order their salads, which are giant and fresh. Nowadays my bf loves their sandwiches. I ordered the lemon garlic chicken sandwich and he ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich.

The lemon garlic chicken sandwich sounded boring but i loved it! It was tangy from the lemony, garlicky sauce and capers and chicken was flavorful! I usually don't like non-brined chicken cuz it's stringy or not enough flavor. Bread roll looked super big but it was soft so it could squish flatter. Then there was fresh tomatoes, onions, and spring mix. I would order

I just had the most amazing experience and best sandwich at this place! The California melt is delicious, but what was outstanding was the people. I accidentally broke a glass bottle (from another establishment) that I was holding and the owner was so sweet about helping me clean up, gave me a bandage, and even offered me a free beverage because he knew how I was feeling. I will 100% be back here! Amazing food and service on what could have been a very bad day.

I was gonna buy but I forgot they are closed on weekends. So, since I’m at their page, i decided to leave a review instead since this is my go to place for my salad.
Anyways, I’m leaving 5 stars because they are well deserving! Clean place, good food and VERY friendly staffs! When I say very, oh boy they are! Even remember last time when they were 2mins before closing and I called that time, and I was 15mins away but, they still took my order for pick up. When I got there, the guys was taking their sign off the street. And I felt bad feeling they probably only waiting for me so they can close

Didn't get a picture bc I devoured the sandwhich.
I got the croissant with egg cheese and bacon, they use crispy bacon with no fat which I'm a huge fan of. My bf got the everything bagel breakfast sandwich which was huge and tasteful. Very filling breakfast!

My favorite salad shop. I'm sad that I'm working from home now and can't support their small business like I used to. Can't wait to go back to the office so I can get me some extra large salads again

Definitely recommended! I love the fish sandwich here a lot. Probably the best fish sandwich you can have! Also, the cashier is really nice and helpful. He goes above and beyond to make sure your food is exactly as you wanted!

Love this place. Definitely my go to for sandwiches when I'm in the city. Been going here for years. Sandwiches are amazing and they're very consistent. They also have delicious salads. Everything is so fresh. My favorite is the pesto chicken sandwich. The staff is always friendly here. These guys and gals are the nicest and They always remember my order. Nice corner location and good place to sit and people watch. Come by and give them a try, you won't be disappointed

Tried the tuna salad sandwich on ciabatta 🍞. Was very tasty. I think I would have the 🍞 toasted next time.
Service was very friendly. Would come back again!

A nice little bagel place. I had an egg and bacon bagel on an everything bagel.

Good service but I wish they call people by name as it's confusing when multiple people have the same order

One of my to go places for a quick, tasty lunch. Its very convenient as it is right next to my work place.

They have a nice selection of speciality sandwiches. I've tried about half of them and loved every single one. My favorite is the Pesto chicken sandwich. Their salad and grain bowls are pretty good too.

The owner is SUPER nice and lets me customize my lunch :) When I'm in the mood for a light lunch, I get the soup of the day (comes with bread) or a side salad and a side of chicken (a decent portion and the owner lets me order any chicken that is on their sandwich menu. I&apos

My rating is more like a 3.5. I came midmorning for breakfast and it was uncrowded. The girl at the register definitely wasn't feeling it. I placed my order and she asked what kind of bread I wanted my breakfast sandwich on. I wanted a bagel but didn't realize they had various flavors. So I asked what kind they had and she just gestured at the counter on the other side. Not wanting to bother her to tell me what any of the flavors actually were, I just asked for white.

My order was ready quickly, and served piping hot, which I appreciated. This isn't a place to sit down and eat

I'll agree with the majority of reviews that come before mine in saying that this little cafe is a solid four starts due to the friendly and speedy service, the variety of items on the menu, the moderate prices, and the quality of the food.

I've been a few times during my visits to San Francisco, and it really is the perfect place for picking up some food to-go whether you're just beginning your work day or taking a break to get some fuel.

I recently ordered a Greek Salad with a couple of modifications and they didn't blink an eye at me for those... my salad came out just

Why 4 stars? Because it's quick, cheap and convenient.

This is one of the closest physical eateries to my office when I'm in SF, so it was only a matter of time before I tried it out. And when I see a prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich on any menu, it's very unlikely that I am going to choose anything besides that.

I've certainly had better prosciutto and mozzarella sandwiches before, but I enjoyed it. What I enjoyed even more was that it was probably less from 100 steps from office to sandwich and that it came in at $16.91 for the sammy + chips and a

Pretty great place! I stopped by here for lunch today and for $12 I got a sizeable California Melt sandwich. Plus it was a quick in and out process! I'll have to come back to try the other items on their expansive menu.

Would recommend as a great lunch spot if you work in SOMA!

My Cajun Chicken Bowl was really tasty. It had a kick with the dressing and ample ingredients. I really loved the chipotle ranch with it. There wasn't a really long line either, so we were able to get in and out in a decent time.

I do wish they would carry gluten free bread. Their menu is expansive and it would be nice to get a GF sandwich. Happy there's still so many GF options. Although I will note that when I asked to just confirm my bowl was gluten free they said "I think." Never the answer you want to hear being gluten free. So I asked about specific ingredients and it

Got up at the crack of dawn to attend the PBWC conference earlier this week and when I arrived, my company's breakfast room had run out of breakfast, doh! Since I had 45 min before the opening speaker, I scurried over to Working Girls Cafe for a breakfast sandwich (which is what I had been hoping to have at the conference had it not run out). Most days if I have breakfast it's usually something quick and light bc that's all I want to spend time for but I do love eating a hot eggy breakfast, maybe more so bc I don't do it too often.

I got the breakfast croissant sandwich which

Best bang for your buck at Working Girls on New Montgomery. $13 for a generous tub of salad. Definitely a steal in our area of the city.

My two favorite salads are the Mandarin Chicken salad (hold the tangerines) and the Chipotle Chicken salad. Both have fresh ingredients, is delicious and filling. I appreciate the amount of dressing they give which some may say is on the heavier side. So if you're dressing conscious, you might want to ask for light or dressing on the side.

The owner, Max, is amazing. He always says hi, has the memory of an elephant, and genuinely cares about getting orders

Working girls and boys can rejoice - a truly dependable sandwich and salad eatery is located right in the heart of San Francisco's busy financial district. Not only is the food tasty but it's also dependable, meaning you'll get what you wanted made the same way you liked it when you ordered it one thousand times before.

I've been a handful of times and keep gravitating back to the Cajun Chicken Sandwich. It's a big, deliciously messy creation starring sliced chicken in a spicy cajun sauce. The bread is always fresh and amount of chicken generous. Sometimes this means

A small cafe on the corner of Bush and Kearney. We came here for a breakfast and really enjoyed our food.
I had the BEST smoked salmon bagel sandwich ever. The prices are decent considering where we are and the service is good too.

If you want to avoid a certain mermaid faced coffee chain, this cafe sits brazenly opposite one on Bush.
Surprisingly hard to find many places open at 8.30 in the financial district on a Sunday morning, so they win a star alone for convenience.
Good coffee, friendly staff, and I watched my breakfast bagel be made fresh in front of me(it tasted good too). There isn't a lot of space to sit down, but the place was quiet so no worries for me.
Definitely a good place for a quick & convenient breakfast.
