I would give zero stars if it was an option. In an emergency situation (the paramedics words, not mine) I was advised by the professional there from Denver Health Paramedics who was assessing the situation - I was told that in network, out of network - it doesn't matter that insurance COVERS the ambulance in an emergency. The paramedic was very clear that he felt they should take my son via ambulance to the hospital. He knew I was concerned and said it was covered. He said that more than once. He knew I was deciding whether or not to drive him there myself and he said he felt they needed

Worked at Denver health in the ER and outpatient medical center. Nurses and charge nurses run in cliques. Screaming and yelling at each other is normal behavior in front of patients. My grandma died in the PCU because of their negligence and we were never provided with support or help after she passed. The doctors, nurses, social workers all useless there. This place is filthy. Our family has loved Denver health and we will NEVER come here again. I'm in nursing school and I am ineligible for rehire and I'm glad I never get to work at this dumpster fire!I will find more clean hospitals

I would give zero stars if possible. This place screwed up my billing and my insurance wouldn't pay because of an erroneous billing code. I forwarded to DH's billing department my case number, the customer service representative's name and phone number but DH didn't call them. Instead DH kept harassing me. Well, insurance will only pay on services that are within a year and this bill went over that.
DH, NEVER worked with my insurance to get the billing rectified and instead sent me to collections.
The billing department is lazy and incompetent. Find somewhere else to go

Just called the main line regarding my daughter's schedule at the eye center. What a rude way of hanging up on me since I was still talking and the lady who answered the phone told me she is in a call center. Just wanted to pass on to the Denver Health administration to let them know. First time to experience this but the call center company should train their representatives better, one way of showing empathy to clients like us who is experiencing a very hard situation. Call was done around 5:15pm or a bit later. Thank you.

I saw on here with the reviews that others have had the same problem as I have had with actually getting an appointment here. After a long wait to get an actual referral to this place, I called 8 ties over the course of two weeks to get an appointment. They DO NOT monitor their own phones, they use an answering service. They NEVER will call you back. You can't get an appointment with this place. Their answering service is TERRIBLE and RUDE as well - telling me that "we are not paid enough to twist their arm to call you back!". What a horrible experience and I never actually

I was at Denver ACUTE center for eating disorders a little over a month. You have no day in anything even if you're an adult. However their life flight and transportation protocol was amazing. The staff really knew what they were doing and were always on top of things. They did vitals, height, weight, and they'll go over you're general history of your ed, but in my case, my chronic illness (I was admitted for severe weight loss due to chrons disease, although I do have ARFID, it just want the primary diagnosis. Labs were always stat and they had all the iv formulas I needed. I was

No one ever stops to think why staff may be awful..... Burnt out, too many patients to take care of and on top of it, patients who think Covid isn't anything to concern themselves or others with. These hospitals have been paying CEOs millions and now the staff has had enough and are leaving. This is the situation across the country. They cannot pay people enough to stay-literally begging us.

No appointments available for new patients at any of their clinics, none. Says online accepting new patients.....no appointments. Saw story on news about how Denver was one of the best places to get health care....for who? Guess I will wait until I collapse on the street after all, go to emergency room instead. What a joke.

I spent a week inpatient purely because they said that my surgery wasn't priority over anyone who had theirs scheduled as an outpatient procedure. I was told that the way the hospital works is that admitted patients are ad-ons and, since I was unable to go home without my surgery I continually got stuck in here because I would get "bumped" from the list that day. At other hospitals, being an add-on has caused me to be delayed during the day etc. But at Denver Health I was fasting at midnight every night for several days, only to be told an hour or two before I was set to go down

I wish I could actually have an opinion on the care or to be able to give a review on this place, but that would involve actually getting to have an appointment. I've been trying to schedule an appointment with a neurosurgeon for over two months and was completely unsuccessful even after reaching out to the patient advocate group. The wait times to even get a hold of somebody to talk to scheduling is absolutely ridiculous, it's a full time job being on the phone to get ahold of somebody. I can only imagine the kind of care and actually get in person, with this lack of need to help their

The staff who I encountered while I was in the emergency room was awesome. Everyone was really friendly and nice, I did have to repeat the same thing a multitude of times. Everything since leaving the hospital has been a really bad experience. Nobody knows anything, I have had to make multiple calls, received different answers, and their system is very messy and there is no consistency. I dread ever having to call there, always have to repeat myself. Nobody has the same answer. I will be happy to never have to deal with this place again
