Services
Here's the truth: most funeral homes consider their primary function to be handling remains. Instead, we think of our job as having two parts: physical and emotional. The physical is burials, entombments and inurnments. The emotional is working with families to design healing experiences. Our peaceful and intimate setting becomes a place where people find closure, renewal and togetherness.
Pre-planning is determining the details of your funeral and cemetery services in advance. To some, this may sound like a difficult conversation. But putting a plan in place is actually a smart and caring thing to do. With a plan, you'll reduce stress for grieving loved ones-and simply let them honor and celebrate your life, knowing things are happening just as you wanted.
We have heard thousands of questions, and chosen to provide you with the answers to some of the more common questions relating to a funeral, a funeral service and funeral homes. You'll find the answers to some of the most common questions relating to the value of a funeral, or memorial service, the practices of funeral service and funeral home operation.
With our online grief support you're assured of our commitment to helping you through this difficult time. It doesn't matter what time of day, or what day of the week you need support, we're here for you. You can access online counseling services, join in group grief support, or watch our interactive videos, anytime: 24/7.

I was recently hit with two losses. My husband who was the youngest boy in the family passed from Lung cancer on July 30th. I entrusted Sturino Funeral Home with his care after his death. They came to my home after the hospice nurse pronounced death. The owner and son came quickly and we’re both professional and compassionate. They explained step… by step as they prepared to take my husband to their facility. My husband was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer just 2 weeks before his passing. I had reached out to Sturino at that time. I spoke with David who also was both professional

I can't express enough appreciation for everyone that is involved with Sturino Funeral home. They made everything run so smooth for us in what was such a terrible loss. Their caring and concern for the family was so evident right from the beginning of our interaction with them .
Thank you so much for making things just a little easier for the loss of my brother!

A funeral for a loved one is not pleasant, however, every facet of our experience with Sturino’s Funeral Home was unbelievably easy, comforting, and professional. They provided us with lists of important paperwork to find and services to be discontinued as soon as possible, and also in the future. There was a list of people who would need thank you cards and examples of what one might want to say in a thank you card. There was paperwork to help write the obituary and many other issues that come up at this time. This funeral home has thought of everything a person would want when in an emotionally

Following the death of our 11-month old daughter, Serena, we were recommended by a family member to reach out to the Sturino Family. In the days to follow, Darryl Sturino and David Herbst showed unmatched kindness and overwhelming generosity, offering us support and guidance through this most tragic and uncertain time in our family's history. They… are two examples of people who still very much care for what is right. They have our unending gratitude and thanks, and would very much recommend them for any in need of hospitable and genuine care in their time of grief. Thank you, Sturino Family

This is the first time I've personally dealt with Sturino Funeral Home and everyone there is truly amazing. From the first contact we had with them, through the service, they have been wonderful. Darryl and… David are so very personable and so caring for you, as well as your needs. I would recommend them for all your funeral needs.
