My wife really wants us to recycle, so we do. I found this location through the Yelp app. They are conveniently located in the Do Quijote parking lot, immediately across the parking from Don Quijote's entrance. You'll see their big trailer. We went around 10am and there was only a few people in front of me.

I did happen to come at a bad time since there was one customer who dropped off a whole bunch of cans which ended maxing out their capacity. We ended having to wait about 20 minutes for them to bag and offload the containers to make room.

I did have a very nice gentleman working

A seemingly simple task of redeeming a couple of bags of recyclables turned into an ordeal by the rude female worker. Sheesh, if you hate your job so much, quit and find a new one. Oh, and while we're on the subject, lose the nasty cigarette dangling from your rude mouth.

Have taken cans and bottles twice during the pandemic season. First time, hours were more limited. Now they seem to be back to regular.
Staff are extremely efficient so wait time is very short. They are a bit hurried, which of course keeps the line short but are polite. They may not pay for every type of bottle or metal (they do list what they'll take) but they will dispose of it at no charge so you don't have to take things back home.
Tip - watch what's going on in front of you so you know what to do/expect and it will help you finish faster. I'll continue to bring my recyclables

I sat in my car reading the reviews, skeptic on whether or not to come here--all the reviews are below 2 stars. Frankly, I came hours before closing at 5 and I double checked online (reynoldsrecycling.com) this locations hours, which included their break hour. I'm sure they want to get out of there... who wants to listen to smashing glass all day? so come ahead of time and prepared.

The bins for the recycling weren't accessible, they're up top inside, and the workers didn't offer me one. Probably because they weren't paying attention. So in that case, yell for them to

I went here at 4:50pm on a Friday to drop off my two bags of recyclables. They promptly announced they were closed. Gave me the whole "I just forgot to close the doors on the container" speech and that they had closed for the day. I pointed out the sign says they close at 5 and that it's only 4:50.

They responded with "oh we ran out of money". I called the main office and they said it's pretty impossible to run out of money and if they do, they can issue checks. So FYI, if you hear that response, it's not true.

I returned the next morning, a Saturday

Arrived this morning shortly after opening. They did not open till late. The first person was not processed until 11:09. Two hours after the time they were supposed to open. I live near this location but usually go to halawa location. I will never try going to PC again even though it is closer. Seriously over two hours to recycle. Fricken. Ridiculous.

Came 10 minutes to their lunch hour to turn in cans. There was no line. Employees gave a fat attitude and claimed they weighted all of my recyclables when for a fact they did not. I was watching the whole time and 3-4 cans were not weighed. Some bull if you ask me. Just because your lunch is soon, doesn't mean you can give an attitude to the customer and rip them off. I hope the girl working reads this. Time to find a new recycling place.

I have problems with the process there. They don't tare the scale individually.. I think they've made an effort to equalize the containers with bolts but they don't put an empty container on the scale and tare it before adding recyclables.
The readout is positioned away from the customer... and they weigh them very quickly, even when there is no customer line. I try to position myself where I can read it but they don't even let it settle... I try to jot down the numbers but I'm uncomfortable, (and I imagine many are), questioning the weights or costs as they are gruff

Convenient and close to home. Glad I found this location since my regular Kam Drive Inn recycling closed down. Mahalo for great service!

They're open Monday - Saturday 9-5pm. Closed Sunday. Dunno why everyone's leaving bad reviews because these people work hard and they have to be in the sun and weigh dirty, sticky cans/bottles all day and deal with customers like you. Cut these workers some slack! Anyways, first time coming here and it was a quick and easy process. I made sure I had the cans, plastic and glass in different bins (bottles with no caps.) I made $5 from recycling which is pretty damn cool. Lastly, from 12-1:30pm they go on lunch break so make sure you go after that time or arrive early so you can unload all

Hours reflect 9a - 5pm open Tuesday - Saturday. I arrived at 4:10p on Saturday and was told the books were closed for the day. Two workers were just sitting in the container waiting till the end of their shift to leave.

Doesn't sound like I'm the only one with this experience. Reynold's should probably change their hours. Definitely lost my business and will not be coming back to this location.

Cyndy's Bottom Line: The customer service is atrocious....

Except for the person weighing the recycled items. She had a great disposition and was professional.

The young man collecting the items was far more interested in his iPhone, and not his job. He exuded the most horrible body language. No aloha!

After unloading my recyclables from my truck and standing in line for a few minutes, then the worker comes around and says that "they are closed" at 4:30pm. The guy in front of me is the last person.
Put a sign up or tell me before I unloaded. My truck was parked in the first stall right in front of their trailer, so they obviously saw me when I parked. Cmon!
