There is a minimum amount of romex copper wire that is required for a transaction. Also you have to pay a 5$ upfront notary fee. But still it is a nice place.

Okuda Metal is convenient, fast, and easy. I have recycled with them a few times and found Okuda's very friendly and helpful. Their staff helped me unload the recycled materials out of my vehicle. I told them what was shiny and what was dirty and the workers organized the weights accordingly. I would definitely recommend this place.

This is where my late Father in Law and I have been taking our copper from our scrap AIr Conditioning equipment for years. Good service. Easy in and out. Legit cause they ask for identification and signed documentation hopefully it deters copper thieves from being able to recycle their stolen copper materials.

I brought clean thick angle aluminum and thick gauge 1 inch pipe... They gave me old sheet aluminum price 25 cents, instead of 50... obviously prejudiced... Ripped me off.. They wont get my bussiness again.. 50 cents is the going low rate for clean aluminum

Odd. I read a bunch of negative reviews with the company responding. They must have been trolls as those posts were removed. That is why I decided to review. I had an excellent trip there 4-7-18. I was at a demolition site and the demolition company kept all the easy harvest copper. So I started collecting the stuff they thought was too humbug to bother with. Here and there over the course of about 6-8 weeks. I showed up and was directed quickly. I pulled out my recyclables and there were two workers who didn't even let the unloaded items hit the ground. They were sorted, weighed

Very negative customer service and support! He could have the best recycling prices, but I would rather loose money than give him my business! Negative 1 star, if I could!

Update: After receiving a message about the phone call, I can agree with the other posters about their positive customer service experiences with Okuda's. Everyone has one of those days. I would consider give Okuda's another try in the future.

Why were you so rude on the phone? I called to ask what the recycle rate would be, but you wouldn't give a price because You said I must be lying about having metal!? Why would I have bothered calling if I didn't have the metal? It's ok Okuda. I'll just go to Reynolds they pay more anyway.

So we remodeled 2 bathrooms and had 2 big copper liners sitting in our yard. For months. Maybe years. I decided to drag those things down to Okudas.
Like other reviews: fast, honest, friendly and easy. What a great experience. Thank you for running such a great business!

I once wrote how I don't consider myself a tree-hugger but I do care about planet earth. I want to do my part to keep this spinning ball from becoming the post-apocalyptic dump that Hollywood likes to envision (think Wall-E and T4). I know my recycling won't do much to save the penguins from their melting glaciers or forests from burning up but at least I can feel good about myself and put a few bucks in my pocket while doing so.

I've been to a couple of other places and they are no where as good as the guys at Okuda Metals.

These guys are fair as they separate everything for

I've attempted to recycle our company's scrap wire many different places, but Okuda Metal has been the most convenient and helpful. Whenever I bring crates of various wires, they sort through it for me in front of me to separate out the wire that will give me a higher price. They do all the work, They unload my truck, sort through it, weigh it in my presence, Notarize the paperwork, and pay me.

They don't accept Steel, because it doesn't make much money. Bob Okuda told me they wouldn't take my steel, but recommended a place for me to take it (which made me do all

I have no idea what the guy above is talking about. Okuda Metal has been the place I've recycled scrap metal for years. They're very friendly and have the best rates. What's even better, they have an onsite notary public. When you're in the way of the workers and holding up they process they may come across as "rude" but know that it's for your safety because they have heavy equipment and METAL all around.
