Services
De La Salle Collegiate is an all-boys Lasallian Catholic high school run by the De La Salle Christian Brothers. Founded in 1926, the school was located on the east side of Detroit before moving to its current location in Warren, Michigan in 1982. The school first opened on Sept. 15, 1926 across from a river called Conner Creek, but Detroit City Airport opened soon after the building of the school.
Ours is a place that believes in welcoming and lifting one another, raising expectations of life and possibilities. Through time-tested values and a true desire to make the world a better place, we challenge. We instill. We impart. And we empower. Whether in the classroom, on the playing field, in the community, or even decades into the future, we are focused on unleashing potential in each other.
As part of one of the largest educational networks in the world, Lasallian education can be found in 109 schools and ministries throughout the United States and Canada. Since 1680 educational institutions in more than 80 countries have been influenced by the vision and innovative spirit of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, the founder of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools and the patron saint of teachers.
Students must wear a DLS polo shirt, school pants and Doc Marten shoes. Students must have their hair cut and in code at orientation. If your hair is not in dress code, you will be sent home and unable to take your picture for your student ID. School Psychologist Andrew Campbell (right) will act as De La Salle's mental health liaison.
The Brother Robert Activity Center, known as The BRAC for short, is available for our De La Salle community. Students, family members, and alumni have the opportunity to use the weight room, gym, indoor track, and locker room facilities. Qualified trainers and instructors may also rent areas of the BRAC to operate exercise classes and for individual instruction.

I’ve gone to school here over the last 4 years, and this place has turned for the worst. Administration sucks, Brad Cusumano acts like a total jack wagon during school hours. Tries to be tough and intimidate students. Well I got a little info for you Brad, you do not scare me. You could put the biggest, strongest man in front of him and Brad will try to intimidate him and start a fight with him. You should turn in your Shirt and Tie for a McDonald’s Uniform, honestly.

Mr.Cusamano or Mrs.Cusamano , well with the way he acts his gender is hard to tell. Anyways he is a horrible person with kids, many students dislike him and have complained about the way he acts during school hours. He is overly strict, demanding and pressures kids into admitting to actions that they did not take part in just to make his job easier. I being a student speak for the kids at De La Salle, remove him from his job , and if you don't believe me send out a anonymous survey and I guarantee over 50% of the kids dislike him with a passion.

Some of the teachers like to badger students for situations they couldn't control, my time at the school it was only with the F.A.S.T teachers. Mr.Buslepp and Ms.Husk but either than that problem the school is great.

My brothers and my father all attended the school, sponsored and overseen by the Brothers of the Christian Schools (De La Salle brothers). Excellent academic rigor. Students graduate college-ready, or vocation-ready, whichever the path. Lasallian Catholic culture, based on service and a welcoming environment for boys from ALL walks of life. "Builders of Boys. Makers of Men."

Though my son graduated from DLS in 2005, it provided the opportunity to go to the University of Notre Dame at South Bend. From there he graduated in 2009 and has been gainfully employed since then. At an early age he has been able to work as a consultant to many hospitals throughout the United States. He played hockey at DLS and still plays today whether it is in adult leagues, pond hockey tournament s or just drop in hockey. DLS taught him to be disciplined in how he approaches many of the crossroads that kids face growing up. Both DLS and Notre Dame taught him that hard work pays off. His friends

I'm a proud member of the Class of 1988, and both of my sons are current students. DLS teachers and administrators go out of their way to treat each student as an individual and help them identify their talents and find their vocation.
