San Juan Montessori, is a preschool and day care facility located in San Juan Capistrano, California, a prestigious learning center which has a proven track record of dedication to fostering children's innate love of education since 1998. Here the children develop their abilities and pursue academic excellence.
Spanish Dr. Montessori identified the period from 0-6 as the critical period for acquiring language. As such, Spanish is introduced weekly through simple words, music, games and other activities designed for the pre-school child. Creative and performing arts bring excitement to our learning environment by reflecting the seasonal, cultural and historical themes of our academic program.
The approach in a Montessori program is completely individualized, so children are challenged to the highest level of their own individual ability. Children learn with a hands-on approach, so the Montessori approach is intended for children to absorb more with these direct experiences than just having an idea explained to them.

My daughter attended SJ Montessori for 2 years, She is now 5 and moved up to kindergarten.  I am so sad to have to leave and hope she will be as happy in kindergarten as she was at San Juan Montessori. My daughter learned so much over the last 2 years, she knows her letter sounds and can count and spell her name. She is also very helpful around the house and i Know alot of the skills she learned she learned from SJ Montessori.  She really loved her teachers and friends there and misses them very much. Our experience was nothing but great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone

Ms. Sandhya is one of the gentlest and kindest human beings I have ever met. She watched my little when he was very young and was amazing with him. He still loves to visit her. We had friends who drove almost 40 minutes so that their kids could continue to be in her care when she set up in her new location because she is that wonderful at creating a loving environment and bond with our children. I cannot say enough wonderful things. You will not be sorry you chose Ms. Sandhya to watch your little.

I highly recommend San Juan Montessori for any parent looking for affordable daycare in San Juan Capistrano. This caring montessori school, located not far off the Ortega Hwy exit, provides a variety of part-time and full-time options for toddlers and children of preschool and kindergarten age. While at school, kids follow a schedule that mixes play with educational lessons, and small children take a nap during the day. Over time kids gain confidence and become more independent. I am a grandparent of 2 children who have been at this school ( one is still there, one is now too old) my daughter in law found this school a few years ago, and is very happy there. Whenever I went to pickup my little girls they were always sooo happy and excited to show me what that had done. I got to know Miss Sandiya ( the owner, who is very involved) during my occasional pickups. I've not ever met a more dedicated and caring person than Miss Sandiya! She stays till 9 o'clock some nights working on things for the children. Her caring nature and concern for the little ones in her care

I am just moved around this area and I needed to find a daycare/school for son. He was previously at a small at home daycare and I felt that he really wasn't learning anything. I have always wanted my son to go to a Montessori school but the waiting list was always long and the fees were too high. I found this school on Yelp, based on the location and reviews I decided to look into it. I was excited to learn that they could take my son in right away and that they were affordable! I have a five year old boy and a three year old daughter and they absolutely LOVE attending SJM. They've never complained about going even when they're exhausted in the mornings. Ms. Sandhya opened her school and her heart to our family and it has truly been a blessing that we found her. Ms. Sandhya and the teachers are so loving and nurturing, and go out of their way to ensure the children are safe, happy and educated. I found San Juan Montessori through Yelp out of a bit of desperation. My son is 3.5 years old and is full of energy. He's smart but stubborn, loving but can be difficult especially during activity transitions. He needs tons of love and discipline. He needed teachers who support him but help him learn to grow emotionally. I had difficulties at two previous schools. One of his school's was actually a different Montessori where his behavior continued to deteriorate. I knew we had to find a more fitting environment for him. I was referred to the Montessori by a neighbor who had two children go through the Montessori... I move frequently and have tried three other childcare facilities, I also worked in childcare going through college. I really like this one. I trust that they do have my kids' best interest at heart, that my kids are safe there, and that they are having fun AND learning. I don't feel guilty leaving them there and that is worth so much.

Very happy with this school. In a short time I have watched my little ones progress in leaps and bounds. My 2 y/o now frequently sings songs from school while she claps her hands, is learning her letters, and has accelerated her verbal skills noticeably.
Ms. Sandhya and her staff have been a great help to our family, especially with the challenging transition from a full time stay-at-home care to full time work and out-of-home care. San Juan Montessori is an amazing environment for children to learn and grow. since our 2 year old daughter started attending SJM about 6 Months ago her vocabulary has grown exponentially. Our daughter expresses herself verbally in ways we would not have thought possible in such a short time. She has grown into a little person at SJM. The staff is top notch and so loving and caring to all of the students. They are very hands on and attentive to all of their needs. They even helped us to potty train our toddler.

My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with San Juan Montessori. My husband was a stay-at-home Dad with our daughter until she turned 2- I was terrified to send my daughter to daycare. We were actually wanting to send her to a church daycare but turns out they were full. I found SJM on Yelp as it is right around the corner from where I work and I truly believe it was meant to be... We have had her there since August 2015 and my daughter LOVES going to school. She adores the staff -- Miss Yessi, Miss Jessica, and Miss Sandhya. San Juan Montessori is such a wonderful school. We have had our almost 4 year old little girl Maxine in SJM since she was 2 and we are now sending her younger sister. They are like a family to us... Miss Sandy goes above and beyond to make sure that our children our well taken care of and loved like we love them. Miss Yessy is so sweet and patient and just loves the kids. I couldn't be happier with the school and would recommend them to any of my friends and family.
