The Gratitude Garden is a nature-based STEM focused school (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with emphasis on positive social and emotional development, artistic expression, and creativity. Our program is designed to support 21st century skills through engaging the imagination, curiosity, and critical thinking.
We instill a love for learning through nurturing children's confidence to try new things and explore the world around them. Children's sense of character blossoms through cultivating gratitude, compassion, creativity, and resiliency. The Gratitude Garden Preschool is focused on providing a fun, nurturing and curiosity-driven environment where children develop a love for learning and a grateful perspective on their lives.

Finding a preschool that develops your child's emotional, intellectual, social, and creative needs is an exciting experience. When I began exploring preschools for my daughter, it was important to find a curiosity-driven learning environment that picked up where we left off at home; a place where learning was so fun and natural that it was irresistible.
The Gratitude Garden Preschool is designed to evoke the imagination and the innate sense of children's curiosity-so that learning is natural and fun. Children benefit from a balanced education that invites creativity and curiosity into the learning process. Developing intellectual skills such as reasoning, analyzing, predicting, questioning, and creativity is paramount in preparing children for elementary school and beyond.
At The Gratitude Garden we believe that while young children's sense of self is developing, so is their ability to create positive self-talk, a positive self-image, and with early training - a grateful perspective. Gratitude is woven in throughout the day providing opportunities for students to share the little things that make life enjoyable.
As an educational community, we encourage and promote awareness of environmental responsibilities and implement practices that contribute to a clean and non-toxic sustainable future. We are endorsed by the Children's Environmental Health Network as a certified Eco-Healthy Child Care provider. This award-winning and science-based endorsement encourages healthier and safer environments in child care facilities.

Amazing Preschool. This will be the second year our daughter has attended this school. Our family could not be more pleased with the staff, facility, and the education she is receiving. We have all made loving relationships with the parents and other students. Best little community.
Thank you Gratitude Garden.

Gratitude Garden is an incredible preschool with unparalleled S.T.E.A.M. education and fantastic teachers who are passionate about encouraging children to grow and thrive. It's amazing how their holistic approach puts the emphasis on supporting each unique child and the full range of what makes a compassionate, resilient and of course grateful community member. A definite love of learning is instilled in every child who is lucky enough to attend school here!

The entire staff is wonderful, caring and nurturing. Our son loves this school so much we increased his schedule from 3 full days to 5 full days. Such an amazing school and encourages imagination and exploration of the world around them. My son has grown up so much since starting 7 months ago. We feel so blessed and grateful that our son is at this school and we know he couldn't be in a better preschool.

We moved to San clemente and were coming from a wonderful preschool, we were so nervous to try a new one. It has been such a blessing! I have 2 kids here, 1 in preschool and 1 in kindergarten- they transitioned so nicely with the help of the warm, loving teachers! Their day is filled with so many different fun things, lots of playtime outside (which I love), and the STEM program has really helped them accelerate their learning! They are so happy, we have met the best families and love the teachers! I highly recommend the Gratitude Garden!

We love everything about this school. Our daughter was hesitant about going to preschool and this was her first year, but with the help and caring of the wonderful teachers, she now loves going. She's always very happy when I pick her up and in her own words says "I had a very fun, good day at school!". The facility is impecably clean, but still inviting and warm. Could not recommend this school enough. Thank you, Gratitude Garden!

Our Son has been going to Gratitude Gardens for a little over a year now and is in his second year of TK. After receiving short notice of his previous school closing we researched all of the schools in the area and Gratitude was our top pick and we were lucky enough to get him in right away. Both my wife and I are Engineers, so a STEM based program was very important to us. We love the school and the staff and most importantly our son dose as well. He hated going to his old school, but is now excited to go to school every day. The level of knowledge that he has gained in a year at gratitude has

I feel so lucky to have found The Gratitude Garden. It ticks all of the boxes I find important in early childhood development. They really understand the emotional and social needs of children and they work so hard to encourage the positive. They have a wonderful outdoor classroom with a garden and chickens! And really strive to make it a healthy community for not only the children but the whole family. Hopefully they open their 1-6 Elementary school soon so we can continue on our schooling journey with them!

Our family loves this school. We definitely feel that this is the best place for our son to build a strong foundation. We are constantly updated on what’s happening throughout the day and it’s pretty amazing for 3 year olds. Taking care of animals, gardening, yoga, Spanish, science and even playing in the rain to keep connected to the outdoors and our world. The faculty and staff are wonderful and always have a smile and a kind word. It’s not just a job for them, they understand what the parents want for their children.
