I am so happy I found PC Geeks. I run several business from my home office but am not tech savvy (those genes went to my brother). Great customer service. Jeff promptly followed up and kept me updated on his work on my computer's damaged hard drive. He worked hard for days to extract the files and did not charge me for his time when he finally gave up. Jeff offered and installed a great new hard drive. Thanks to Jeff my computer runs way faster than before. It is clearly a much better machine now and so much easier to work with. That made the pain from losing my files much more tolerable. I thought that my laptop was a goner. (Don't even remember how old it it is. Maybe 6 y/o?) Just sick, because like everyone, I had all kinds of info on it that I could not replace. (No, I had not saved to the cloud), Anyway, these guys replaced the hard drive and I got all my info back. Took about a week. My laptop works better than it did when it was new! Would definitely recommend.

So my Lenovo ThinkPad GEN 5X one carbon was dropped and I was told by another company that likely the motherboard was toast. I looked up computer repair close to me and found these guys in Frisco. I called and they said bring it in. They charged $99 for diagnostic (with that amount going against repair).
Within an hour of dropping it off they called me with great news that in fact upon disassembling and inspecting and a hard reset they determined it was the battery that "got hung up". What was going to cost me $1000 for repair or a new computer was only a total of $150!

My wife's computer died a few days ago. It's a Mac and I'm pretty handy but I couldn't do much for it. Called PC Geeks on Wednesday and they said bring it in. Took it over there yesterday afternoon and they thought it was probably the hard drive. Shortly after I returned home they called and said it needed a new hard drive. I was tempted to just buy a new computer since this one is around 8 years old but they advised replacing the drive and I would have a great computer so since the price was reasonable I agreed.

I took my Area 51 Alienware there that got struck by lightening. They were very nice and upfront with all the costs and were eager to help. They are very professional and knowledgeable. I went to PC Geeks to clone/ update my custom PC. I worked with Don who essentially dismantled the whole thing and rebuilt from scratch. I am very pleased with the results, especially since this wasn't a straightforward build. They allowed me to source my own parts when desired and helped walk me through what I was looking for. Excellent customer service, speedy and will use again. Great work!

I feel scammed. They are going to charge you 50.00 usd even when you decide not to fix your computer because the estimate is too high. Basically they are not charging you 50.00 usd for the diagnostic but for providing you an estimate (is different) After that it dont matter if you want or not to pay for the estimate they set, your 50 box charged are not refundable. As an example, lets say you want to fix a cheap laptop with a small software problem. You need to give a 50 usd deposit even before you know much is going to cost you. Two days later you get a call saying is going to cost you 450 usd

Amazing experience here! Don was beyond knowledgeable. I brought my PC in on a Thursday and it was fixed and running better than new by the end of the day! Moreover, he saved all of my data into a neat little desktop file for me. If your computer isn't running, take it here. The $49 diagnostic fee is extremely reasonable and it is credited to any costs for repair.

I am very disappointed in the service here. I brought my pc in last Friday and didn't get my pc back till Wednesday afternoon. needed simple repairs and I was charged $220....I feel that I was taken advantage of.... they make you pay $50 dollars for an assessment, really???????? will not go back, for sure!!!
