Rocky Hock Campground is a nice little place, very close to the quaint, historic, Main Street town of Edenton NC. The camp sites were gravel and seem to be mostly level. Ours was a pull through along the fishing lake and was easy to get into and out of with our 40' fifth wheel. The connections were modern and all worked well and they had great water pressure. We were able to stream on their wifi in the mornings. The only issue I saw was that the sewer connection was a bit high, it may cause an issue with travel trailers but we did not have any problems except the slinky was about an inch too short

This is a beautiful campground with plenty of room between sites. Our stay here was quite and very peaceful. The price was great too. There is Wifi, a catch and release pond, a small golf course, paddle boats, and even a pool table. The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 is that our phones had no service and it was quite a drive to the activities we had planned. Would definitely stay here again.

BJ’s has a huge, level parking area and perfect for big rigs. Welcoming host Wanda was there when we arrived. She was friendly and made us feel like we were old friends, Had some great food and a really good time. Thanks so much for a wonderful one-night stay. We will be back!

My husband and I loved staying at this campground. We only stayed a few nights but they were nights well spent.
The owner was very kind and helpful. The spots were super clean and level, and we loved being next to the small lake / big pond.
There was tons of space for us to walk our dogs, and there was zero road noise (from what we can remember).

Wow, what a great campground! So much land but not overfilled with camper sites. Little pond was beautiful. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Should look into getting more sites so more people can stay at this awesome campground. Only negative are the pesky nats but not the campground’s fault.

Family owned RV park, 30 & 50 amp service, they have a boat ramp, fishing ponds, airplane landing strip (grass), golf course, live music weekly. The BOSS lady Mrs Phillis is nice & knowledgeable of RV placement. Clean & spacious. I highly recommend staying here. Dog friendly!!! They also have a rec room with pool tables, laundry room, & showers.

While this little campground may have lacked some of the frills of larger campgrounds it made up for it in peace and tranquility. Unfortunately we did not get there in time for the entertainment, we did enjoy the pond and the long walks we were able to take around it. Hostess was nice and accomodating. Would definantly make a return visit here.

We stayed for a couple months. They have good pricing, they keep the park well kept and clean. The owner was really nice not only to me but our kids and our dogs. We have had no trouble at all here besides the mosquitoes which can't be helped. My kids loved the pond and watch the geese and the turtles out in the water. I would highly recommend this place!

So far it's been nice. Located in a non rural area. No traffic and not a lot of noise other than a few dogs down the road ever now and then. Nice pond for fishing that also has free paddle boats for campers. Lots are spacious. Shower house/laundry are at the end of the drive. Women's shower is pretty clean but the building is not air conditioned which can get a little uncomfortable in the summer. Also has a small golf course and sand volleyball net. Owner is really nice and helpful. Not much to do in the area but the rv park itself is nice.
