Services
All appointments (new patient and follow-ups) can be scheduled by calling 520-296-7766 or Faxing us at 520-296-2301. All medications you are currently taking. Any medical records that might be useful in your evaluation-labs/recent physical/ IQ or psychological testing results, in addition for children also recent report card, behavior sheets, ARD recommendations ect.
Neuronetics, developer of the NeuroStar TMS Therapy system, will lead the effort to secure health insurance coverage. TMS Therapy may be covered by your health insurance provider on a case-by-case basis. You can work with your doctor and the NeuroStar Care Connection (NCC) program to seek coverage for your TMS Therapy.

He was a terrible doctor to me and pointed out my weight gain several times in a horrible way. He made my depression 10x worse and was always late to our phone meetings and even with in person meetings, I waited 30 minutes. He asked me what medication i wanted to be on and what dose..... he is the doctor how am I supposed to know??

I have never in my many years of care ever been asked what medication and dosage of that medication I wanted to be on. As well as asked if there were any other medications I wanted to be prescribed. Typically the physician is the expert in this and will discuss it not ask you to tell him, that is what his or her expertise is supposed to be. I found this highly unprofessional and downright offensive. It didn't stop there, not even 15 min into the visit he engages in a discussion about alternative treatment options and pushes a magnetic cerebral stimulation which he so happens to do in house and

I have enjoyed seeing Dr. Streitfeld and he has done nothing but help me since I began going to him. He always tries to understand what I am dealing with so he can prescribe the right amount of what I need. I have improved SIGNIFICANTLY since I started seeing him. The staff who work there have always been very kind too. I would definitely recommend This center.

I found Dr. Streitfeld from a list of in network providers from my insurance company. Give his questionable reviews I was hesitant to schedule an appointment. However, he is one of the few psychiatric providers accepting patients. It took about a month to get a "new patient" appointment. His receptionist is very kind, professional and organized. Unlike most psychiatry appointments, he is interested in a full set of vital signs. He keeps an on-time schedule. I arrived early for my second appointment and he began our session 15 minutes early. I saw him about four years ago for bipolar depression, anxiety, and I also have body dismorphia. At first he was fine but if I ever got too emotional when he asked about anything (how I’m doing, how the medication was working, my current mental state) he would say “I only prescribe medication, I’m not a therapist” which was quite rude and he could have said something nicer or treated me with more respect.
