The knowledgeable staff at Main Optical is experienced in working with vision insurance providers. We will work directly with you and your vision insurer to submit claims regarding your vision care. We strive to ensure that you understand your insurance coverage and will answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits.
Dr. Reed graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1989 and has been in private practice ever since. He was the past President of Sugarcreek Eye Health Center in Bellbrook, Ohio before coming here to Main Optical. Dr. Reed has a special interest in anterior segment eye disease and difficult to fit contact lens patients.
At Main Optical, and our entire Piqua optometry team are committed to providing advanced vision care in a professional and comfortable environment. As an optometrist in Piqua, our primary eye care service includes a complete eye exam that analyzes eye health and vision function. In addition to eye exams and vision testing our team of optometry professionals provide testing for glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration.

There is obvious miscommunication going on here. My 1st visit I asked a lot of questions so as to not have any problems switching eye places. I was under the impression after paying half down, that I could get the glasses & pay the other half in payments monthly, turned out, the glasses have to be paid IN FULL before getting them. That is NOT what I was initially told!! AFTER insurance the glasses were still around $500.00 out of pocket. I also asked about what happens if vision isn't right in the glasses I ordered (the eye exam done elsewhere), I was told & assured I could get a one time (NO extra
