I love this place. I love the ladies that work there. I have visited several salons in Houston, NONE have the knowledge and interest in natural hair like the women at this salon. I even have a "go to salon" I like because I like the stylist there, but even at that place, the knowledge is a bit lacking. If you have natural hair and you want more than just a consideration for locs, a silk press or braids, Sugacurls is where you need to be. T knows about ALL of it, and can tailor to your needs for wearing your natural hair, period. It is extremely hard to find a salon that knows what your natural

I had a positive experience with Tamika. She was very kind, She also is very thorough with my hair. She provided a lot of information during my session. She brought my curls back to life after years of improperly dying them. My son came to Houston for a couple of weeks to visit me and wanted 2 strand twists. Everything from making the appointment to the finished look of his hair was excellent!! Travonna did a phenomenal job on his hair!!! My own hair is relaxed, but I’m about to go back natural after seeing how his hair came out and now knowing there is a nearby natural hair salon that I can go to that does great work.

This was my 2nd visit with Tamika. I booked the service I wanted and after discussing the end result I wanted to reach.. We changed the service. I was skeptical.. but I did it anyway! After my hair cut, she styled my hair and it did not come out as I hoped. Saddened..but I paid my bill and left. Late that evening I restyled my hair and the next morning... BOOM ! Baayyybeee.. my hair said.. Here I am.. let's pop huntteee! TRUST THE PROCESS! Tamika has skills and gave what I asked her to give. Thank you SugarCurls

Sugacurls salon is my own little oasis. Timeka is such a great listener and attentive to all my hair care concerns. She takes detailed notes and always follows up with me.
