Planning - Consilium Management understands that financial situations and tax law are dynamic and can change every day, every month, or every year. With this in mind we focus on maintaining our planning relationship with our clients to help them navigate the changes that affect their financial and personal goals.
Joshua Thompson, CFP, EA is president and founder of Consilium Management Group, LLC. He first entered financial services in 2005 after graduating from San Diego State University with a bachelor's degree in International Business with a specialization in Finance. When not helping clients with their finances, Joshua spends time with his wife Debbie and his two young children Isaac and Ashley.
Enrolled agents (EAs) are federally-authorized tax practitioners who have demonstrated technical competence in tax law and are the only taxpayer representatives licensed to practice by the United States government. Only EAs, attorneys and CPAs may represent taxpayers without limitation before the IRS.
The CFP certification is a voluntary certification; no federal or state law or regulation requires financial planners to hold CFP certification. It is recognized in the United States and a number of other countries for its (1) high standard of professional education; (2) stringent code of conduct and standards of practice; and (3) ethical requirements that govern professional engagements with clients.
