Equally relaxed is the Duck Soup Inn on San Juan Island. This tucked-away restaurant makes the most of regional favorites, many grown just steps away from the kitchen door. Chef/owner Gretchen Allison has packed her kitchen garden with herbs, flowers, fruits and other items that star on her menu. Signature applewood smoked Westcott Bay oysters make a good use of the briny bivalve from the other side of the island.

Love this tiny little French place! We sat upstairs at the bar and it was so crowded and buzzy. The wine was great and the service amazing. For food: the cheese and pickled endives (yum- and I don’t like pickled stuff), this amazing squash and goat cheese salad (but huge portion), but I forgot the rest :(. Recommended!

The dining area was a bit small but it made for a warm and cosy environment. The staff were very friendly and patient. This is a great place to go if you want a variety of vegetarian options.
The cocktails were lovely and I would recommend the fritters, skate, cabbage and pannacotta with quince jelly.

10 out 10 Food, ambience, service , wine, flowers, lighting, and a Supertramp vinyl playing away. Perfect Friday early dinner. Highlights were the cured gurnard , the incredible fritters and the butter beans with the poussin. Thank you

Amazing place, truly fantastic food. A great selection of wine by the glass and even more by the bottle, very busy so I'd recommend booking! But, we showed up on the day and got a table (a risky strategy).

Great experience (intimate), very friendly staff and the food is delicious!! The cuisine is European/uk/Asian fusion. It comes with very strong flavors and in a nice quantity. Some of the best restaurant I have tried in London. It can be hard to get a booking for dinner but you can walk in for lunch during the week 👌.

Found this little gem online and it caught my eye because of the slightly different menu from the rest in the local area.
The food was excellent, I had the cuttlefish for starters and the lamb chops for mains both plentiful and cooked to perfection.
Service was very friendly and attentive, the food was made in good time.
The only very minor gripe was the music which I found odd, the restaurant has a French bistro vibe but the background music was American hillbilly music and David Bowie.

Great atmosphere and attentive staff however food was slightly lacking in some areas. we got the heart with horseradish and the horseradish was so over powering it ruined the taste. The kohlrabi salad was fresh but not amazing. The crab and the braised chicken were the stars of the show and absolutely delicious! The wine selection is abundant.
