Cascade Vacation Rentals

We stayed at Cobblestone Villas (#3) during a frigid and stormy week in January 2022, but the villa was beautiful, comfortable, and warm with fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom. The location couldn't be better: a short walk to Drury Lane Books, Cook County Whole Foods Coop, and Gunflint Mercantile for fudge, and a short drive to Voyageur Brewing and The Angry Trout. The villa is decorated with works by local artists. The wall of windows in the living room looks out on the lighthouse of Grand Marais Harbor and the soaring windows in the bedroom perfectly frame the winter constellation

Tammy Enggren did an unbelievably good job helping us with our disaster. 9PM. The unit we rented was one quarter mile from highway 61 which had just been plowed leaving no shoulder. The unplowed road to the unit was somewhere under one and one half feet snow. Tammy with many calls was able to arrange a place to stay. She is our hero and deserves the 5 stars. We just finished a short stay at Thorson's Landing, which I believe is a new property they are managing. The home was beautiful and immaculately clean and a much better price for what you get at nearby resorts. We did have to call Cascade a couple times during our stay and they were very responsive. We definitely recommend this property!

The Boathouse is a remodeled bungalow in a quiet neighborhood right at the heart of Two Harbors. We were able to enjoy relaxing with our large family and use the home as a base for exploring north and south, enjoying as much of the shore and the state parks as we could. The farthest we ventured was Grand Marais, well worth the 1.5 hour beautiful drive. There were some issues with the home, but nothing that wasn't normal maintenance, and when we let Cascade Rentals know, they were super attentive and eager to accommodate us comfortably. We would 100% stay again.

We rented Spring House for 6 nights in September’21. I was skeptical and worried after reading a not so flattering recent review left on Airbnb. I contacted CVR to express my concern and spoke with Tami. Tami reassured me with most of my concerns, and offered to move my booking to another home if I still had concerns (btw, this other home was beautiful!). Since the appeal of Spring House was its proximity to the water and those windows!, I really did not want another home. I trusted Tami and CVR, since I have been renting with them for the last 5 years, and they have always exceeded my expectations

That was my husband that you spoke to. He was not aware of the used towel, socks and black hat I found in bathroom that had not been removed by whoever lightly cleaned the house. That is why he didn’t know what you were talking about. He did however find some of the glass shards on bathroom floor. I found more as well. Our stay is over, so there is no need to reach out again. We are not expecting anything. I just wanted to make other potential guests aware of what to expect.

This summer is my 3rd time renting with Cascade Vacation Rentals. Their rentals are spotless and tasteful and in great locations. I was originally drawn to them in 2020 due to their careful COVID precautions which were up on their website. Their blog/newsletters are informative. The customer service is outstanding. Professional and responsive. I have done a 2 week, 1 week, and a 5 week rental. During the 5 week, I had some issues and questions, and they were all resolved or attended to with satisfaction. (Special compliments to Tami, and maintenance person, Kevin). I normally stay at Airbnbs, but

5 couples (10 of us) rented summit retreat for a 3 day weekend. It was over 700.00 a night to rent and not worth the price as we had to bring all our own linen, towels and bedding. They did not even have a bath mat or rug in the bathroom to use. We had to drive 28 miles out of our way to bring the garbage to a dumpster after our stay. We brought food to grill and the grill was not usable. The garage was flooded out from a broken pipe that had been leaking a very long time so clearly no one was checking on the place. Over priced for what we got!

We just finished a wonderful weekend at the Little Birdie Lodge in Lutsen. We we're very impressed by the professional service we received from Andrew at Cascade Vacation Rentals. As a prior owner of a vacation rental business, we we more than satisfied by the excellent communication and the high quality clean home we rented. Highly recommend!

We have been using Cascade Vacation Rentals for some time now. We have always had an excellent experience with not only the whole rental process but also the rental properties themselves. The cabins we have rented are always clean and match the on Cascades website description to a T. I never have to wonder if it going to disappoint because they never do.
