With your Money Market account as overdraft protection, there's no transfer fee to replace overdrawn funds. Rates are valid as of 10/29/2021 and are subject to change after account opening without notice. Interest is paid at tier rates on balances within each tier. Total interest paid is the sum from each tier.

I've come to this location a couple times when I've had to make changes to my account or to make deposits. Staff here is friendly, the office is clean/organized, and in the late morning there wasn't too much of a wait. There are hand sanitizers located around room which is nice.
All my needs were taken care of. My only gripe is that they don't accept checks made out to "cash" and I had a few of those given as gifts from family. You then have to ask them to write your name on the check for Patelco to deposit it. It is a bit of a hassle but it is their protocol.

Patelco Credit Union solicited me to become a member. I ended up calling and begging them to close my account and cancel my loan application. Again, Patelco solicited me to be a member. Every step of the way, the customer service was horrible. It was nightmare after nightmare. The best service I received was the great associate who closed the account and ended the nightmare. I am a net detractor of the credit union. Exhausting.

I mistakenly left my card in the ATM after getting my cash. Thankfully, the machine ate my card. I didn't realize that I had done this till about 3 hrs later. I went into the branch, told them what had occurred & about 15 mins later, an employee & the branch manager came out , handing me my card. to my relief. They said that "This happens all the time."

I am a current member with Patelco Credit Union with two different accounts. I went in recently with my wife to open a college savings account for our newborn daughter. After waiting 30 mins to speak to someone, we were finally help by Raven (I believe that was her name). She did not attempt to build any rapport with us, just asked what we wanted. I asked what she recommend for college savings and she said that Patelco did not have such accounts.

Usually Patelco has been helpful, but lately something has been off.
I have been a customer of Patelco for over 10 years.
Recently I got a check in the mail for 2550 dollars, and figured it was person that I gave 5000 dollars to paying me back. I deposited it with my phone and after a few days it went through, so I used the new balance to pay down credit card debt with Patelco.
A few days go by, and I couldn't buy milk for some reason. I check my account, and checking is in the negative for the amount of the check. The check bounced.

They will process debits prior to processing deposits in order to assess NS fees. It was my understanding that credit unions did not play these types of "order" games.
Additionally, when holding direct deposits, Patelco will hold it until the latest date, also known as a "release by date." The word, "by" Is important here because that is allowing patelco to release it before that date but they must release it by that date.

I needed to move some accounts from another credit union. I was recently in the area and thought "hey after my appointment I'll go to Patelco to open that account". I called in to make an appointment and bam they had an opening for me. I showed up at my scheduled time and my banker was ready for me. Her name was Etelih G. Let me tell you I worked with many bankers in the past and Etelih was amazing. She asked me many questions to understand my financial needs and recommend the best options for me based on my needs. She was very detailed when explaining the account opening and products

So this place is is a business center so the set up is a little weird. There's parking to the side but it's a busy parking lot. The good thing is they have a lot of tellers here . I like this place because it's convenient. The atm is on the other side of the building I have no idea why. I've given a car payment here twice and they charge my bank card as a cash advance without my knowledge. So I was charged a $21 fee. I guess besides loosing money for no reason they are just ok.

I feel comfortable coming here because it's clean, less wait time and Victoria and Nazia are the dynamic duos! Good afternoon. Why did the san Bruno branch office leave the ATM out of order for the whole weekend???? Also, why isn't there a contact after hours or when you are closed to assist the customer and not an auto recording. Bad Business.. Just because you belong to a network doesn't mean you can't have customer service over the weekends and after hours. Will be in to close accounts on Monday...tks Bob

This Patelco used to be the best with no lines and multiple tellers. Now it's completely changed...inexperience tellers that takes forever to handle your transactions. There could be 5 people in line and still only one teller. What are all the other tellers doing? And why do the tellers do account stuff at the window ...isn't that supposed to be at the account desk!???
I hate coming here now and really thinking of switching banks now.

To Tess: Maraming salamat po! Tess followed up and made sure I was assisted properly. However, the rest of the staff isn't up to par and God forbid you sign in to have to speak to someone...this lady is taking her sweet time each time I'm here and it looks like she's the only financial person. I waited 30 minutes last time I was in here which was earlier today...I've waited 30 minutes again...really irritating...

Applied for a refi (I am also a member of the CU) and first, the mortgage officer was unable fill out the paperwork properly. So she doubled my income and ran my credit. Then I found out that they couldn't understand my tax returns and I didn't qualify (according to the mortgage officer). So I asked to speak to the underwriter and was promised a call back. After 2 follow-ups and no calls, I gave up.
I did qualify with another lender, so it appears these people are completely incompetent, and their customer service sucks.
My wife and I are seriously considering closing our accounts
